U.S. Citizen Used Fake Mexican ID to Get Deported to Avoid Human Smuggling Prosecution

A U.S. citizen used a fake Mexican ID to get deported by federal authorities to avoid prosecution following a human smuggling incident in December 2021. The now-convicted Texas-based smuggler is believed to have moved hundreds of migrants illegally into the country and funneled large amounts of money to cartel associates in Mexico during a two-year period, prosecutors stated.

This week, Chief U.S. District Judge Randy Crave sentenced 27-year-old Derly Cresencio Medina to nine years in prison and 48-year-old Jessica Dinora Pena Rodriguez to six and a half years for their role in coordinating dozens of human smuggling attempts between August 2021 and February 2023. Both human smugglers had pleaded guilty to various charges earlier this year.

Mexican Cartels Exploit US government's CBP One App

EXCLUSIVE — The Mexican government is allowing any immigrant who enters the country from Guatemala to continue traveling to the United States border if they have obtained an appointment on the U.S. government's CBP One phone app, the Washington Examiner has learned.

The move would seem to be in the interest of the United States. However, Mexican cartels are exploiting the app's security and found a way to request unlimited appointments for anyone in the world — far beyond the app's "northern Mexico" geofence.

A Honduran migrant will spend six and a half years in prison for his third conviction on human smuggling charges. The Honduran man had been smuggling migrants for more than nine years — some of that time while he was under asylum protection.

This week, 41-year-old Marlon Enrique “Gordo” Gallegos Rapalo appeared before Chief U.S. District Judge Randy Crane in McAllen, Texas. The judge sentenced him to six and a half years in prison. Gallegos pleaded guilty to human smuggling charges earlier this year following an arrest in July 2022.

President Joe Biden’s deputies are asking the House GOP majority to fund new travel and housing programs for more economic migrants who are being encouraged to take opportunities needed by ordinary Americans.

The August 10 request for $3.3 billion funding “is not all designed to promote more illegal immigration, but most of it seems to be,” said Mark Krikorian, director of the Center for Immigration Studies, adding:

South Texas becoming 'very hot area' for Heavily Armed Cartel Gangsters to cross: Police

“There is no greater public safety and national security threat than the Mexican drug cartels, who have exploited security vulnerabilities due to an unsecured international border," a Texas DPS spokesman said in a statement. "This joint effort highlights the importance of collaborating with local, county, state, and federal agencies for one common goal — keeping our state and country safe."

One of World's Most Wanted Illegal Immigrants is caught in NEW HAMPSHIRE 'after murdering 11 in Brazil' and dodging a 275-year prison sentence: 'Thank goodness he wasn't in sanctuary city'

One of the world's most wanted illegal immigrants has been captured in New Hampshire after being sentenced to 275 years in jail for his part in a massacre.

Antonio Jose De Abreu Vidal Filho was apprehended by immigration officers in Rye, New Hampshire, on Monday after fleeing to the United States in 2019.

The former Brazilian military police officer had been involved in the 2015 Curio Massacre, which was the murder of 11 individuals, including teens, after the death of a police officer.

Filho, 29, was tried and convicted in June of this year, with a board of judges in the city of Fortaleza, Brazil, handing him a sentence of 275 years and 11 months in prison for his part in the murders.

In a comment piece about the case, the Boston Herald said: 'No one should have to live in fear of unvetted criminals who cross the border and are protected from deportation from the 'good people' who see law enforcement as agents against democracy.'

Biden’s Migrant Mobile App Frees 200K Foreign Nationals into U.S. — Exceeding Population of Springfield, Missouri

President Joe Biden’s CBP One mobile app, which allows foreign nationals to schedule southern border appointments for release into the United States, has imported nearly 200,000 foreign nationals into American communities since the start of the year.

For more than two years, Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has implemented a number of programs in its expansive Catch and Release network — including the CBP One mobile app.

The mobile app entices foreign nationals in Mexico who are pregnant, mentally ill, elderly, disabled, homeless, or crime victims to schedule an appointment with DHS officials at the border in the hopes of being released into American communities.

From mid-January through July, the mobile app has helped import more than 180,000 foreign nationals who were in Mexico to the U.S. interior. In June, close to 40,000 foreign nationals were brought to the U.S. via the app while, last month, nearly 45,000 arrived.
