Illegal Immigrant Shoots Texas Police Officer After Being Released By Border Patrol: Report​


A Texas police officer was shot multiple times on Sunday during a shootout with a 25-year-old Venezuelan national who entered the U.S. illegally and had been released by Border Patrol, Fox News reported.

It was unclear if the suspect was killed by return fire from police or if he committed suicide, according to Fox News. Chacon-Gutierrez illegally entered the U.S. in November 2023 and was apprehended by Border Patrol in Eagle Pass, Texas, according to law enforcement officials. He was then released into the country with a court date set for April 2026.

Members of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua have been given the “green light” to attack and open fire on cops in Denver, a federal memo obtained by The Post reveals.

The gang is already tied to hundreds of crimes, including the shootings of two NYPD cops who were trying to arrest one of its members in June.

“Credible human sources from Colorado provided information on TdA [Tren de Aragua] giving a ‘green light’ to fire on or attack law enforcement,” said the memo, from the Homeland Security Investigations office in Chicago.

From there, its members have flocked to major US cities including New York, Chicago, Miami and Denver, where they engage in money laundering, gun smuggling, theft and human trafficking, according to reports.

Illegal Jordanian migrants who ‘tried to breach’ Quantico base allowed to walk free after posting bail​


The two illegal Jordanian migrants who are charged with trying to breach Marine Corps Base Quantico in May posted thousands of dollars in bail and were allowed to leave federal custody, The Post can exclusively reveal.

Hasan Yousef Hamdan, 32, and Mohammad Khair Dabous, 28, were released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention despite their immigration status — Hamdan had crossed into the country illegally in April and Dabous had overstayed his student visa and is subject to removal proceedings, law enforcement sources told The Post.

They were arrested on May 3 for trespassing onto the military installation and handed over to ICE officers because of their immigration statuses.

Surprise, surprise: Team Biden has halted a program that flies migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela into the United States after the Department of Homeland Security uncovered massive fraud by the program’s applicants.

Gee, did anyone really think there wouldn’t be fraud?

This is a program, mind you, that never got congressional authorization and violates laws already on the books.

Yet despite the patently obvious likelihood of fraud, President Biden and border czar Kamala Harris went ahead with it anyway, flying in nearly half a million people since October 2022.

Now a review by DHS’s Citizenship and Immigration Services found that possibly tens of thousands of applications from migrants’ “sponsors” contained fraudulent info — the same addresses, for example, used by many of them, fake Social Security numbers and zip codes and even the same verbatim answers to questions.

Heck, even their asylum claims have been proven to be bogus: When asked, migrants openly admit they want to relocate to America not because they’ve been persecuted or their lives are in danger back home — as required for asylum — but for better economic opportunities.

Now that CIS has documented fraud, and on a massive level, the program has been frozen. Great.

But here’s the kicker: Homeland Security wants to start it back up again right away, supposedly with measures to guard against more fraud: “DHS will restart application processing as quickly as possible, with appropriate safeguards,” a spokesperson said.
