16 GOP-Led States Sue to Stop Joe Biden’s Huge ‘Parole-in-Place’ Amnesty​

Republicans have filed a lawsuit to block President Joe Biden’s “Parole in Place” amnesty for at least 500,000 illegal migrants.

“Under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the federal government is actively working to turn the United States into a nation without borders and a country without laws. I will not let this happen,” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said in an August 23 statement. He added:

Biden’s new parole workaround unilaterally grants the opportunity for citizenship to unvetted aliens whose first act on American soil was to break our laws. This violates the Constitution and actively worsens the illegal immigration disaster that is hurting Texas and our country.

“This executive [office] amnesty gives over one million illegals legal status, work permits, and a path to voting citizenship,” said Stephen Miller, who is part of the lawsuit. “It is brazenly unlawful, a deadly accelerant to the ruinous border invasion, and we will use every lawful tool to stop it.”

Four Migrants believed to have Ties to Venezula’s Tren de Aragua Gang Indicted in Violent Denver Jewelry Heist​

Four Venezuelan migrants believed to have links to the notorious prison gang Tren de Aragua were indicted Wednesday in the violent armed robbery of a Denver jewelry store — including two migrants who have previously been arrested in other states, The Post can reveal.

Three of the alleged gangbangers — Oswaldo Lozada-Solis, 23, Jesus Daniel Lara Del Toro, 20, and Jean Franco Torres-Roman, 21 — were charged with armed robbery and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence, the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado announced Wednesday.


The fourth migrant, Edwuimar Nazareth Colina-Romero, 18, was charged with transporting stolen goods and possession of stolen goods.

The charges stem from a June 25 robbery in which two female staffers at Joyeria El Ruby Jewelry Store were pistol-whipped and threatened with death.

As far as the transformation of Europe and the U.S. we're way past that point. Most of your post seems to be walking contradiction, it doesn't happen all at once and is absolutely happening.

This is obviously very true. Years ago I heard a guy talking about how great it would be for Texas to turn blue through illegal aliens. So yes, this is about Democratic votes importing votes.

The wall would cost about $20 billion to complete. That’s a fraction of 1% of annual federal spending. Plus it would generate huge savings by making enforcement much more efficient and effective. But the Dems threw up barriers to building the barrier for some style points.

Tens of thousands go through Texas border crossings/checkpoints every day. A wall will do absolutely nothing in those cases....

You have to eliminate the incentive for them to illegally stay. Enforce existing employment laws and don't provide benefits...

That line about parties being different on immigration, I agree. But I'd argue you can insert any political issue save guns and abortion and it would still be accurate. The only difference between the two parties is rhetoric.

We have to enforce the border. We have to get rid of free stuff. We have to enforce the rules to prevent getting jobs. We have to deport once they are located. It's a 4 step process. Without doing all 4, its not going to get any better....

We are 35 trillion in the hole. I'm all for expanding the amount of LEGAL immigration for employment reasons.

A border wall is one of the few issues I disagree with conservatives on. The idea is proven. But a wall is not an impenetrable barrier. It needs to be manned. Those guarding it must be able to use deadly force.
Even with technology assist, it will come down to an amount of manpower, tech, weaponry, and support per some distance of barrier for the wall to be effective.
There are fixed costs with building and also ongoing costs to man it. The outlay isn't worth the objective especially when there are cheaper ways to go about curtailing illegal immigration.
