Millions of Illegal Aliens From All Over The World Head For U.S. Border

Trump ends catch and release for border crossers claiming asylum | Daily Mail Online

'I hope not. It's the military. I hope there won't be that. But I will tell you this: Anybody throwing stones, rocks, like they did to Mexico and the Mexican military, Mexican police – where they badly hurt police and soldiers of Mexico – we will consider that a firearm,' Trump warned
If he could have it his way, we'd spray and pray on the spot. Hopefully better Americans prevail.

The director of the ACLU's immigrants right group simply tweets the applicable section of the US Code concerning asylum requests and red hats lose it in their replies. Thought you guys were the "law and order" party.

MAY apply. That doesn't guarantee it will or should be granted. If people are losing their minds over them being able to apply, well that's just ridiculous.

He's already completed the gas-lighting among the Red Hats, along with Fox News. Invasion! Scary diseases! Invasion! Loss of the Republic! Scary diseases! Invasion!

I understand that if you leave your country because it’s a s***hole then you shouldn’t get a choice on where you want to go. Do the process the right way or roll the dice.
So you don't understand what political asylum means, thanks for clearing that up.

How do you think the U.S. should respond? I'm curious. Are you suggesting we just let them in? Is defending our borders a bad thing? Are you ultimately arguing for open borders that let people come and go as they please? Your anti whatever Trump wants to do is obvious, so please, explain to me how you think this should be handled?

They need votes, it's that simple.

As it has always been handled. They go to a port of entry, those seeking political asylum are granted entry. Those immigrating go through the proper procedures. Anyone that falls outside of that remains in Mexico.

********. These people are magically going to vote next week? Citizens of your state are being denied the right to vote, what exactly makes you think a sudden influx of South Americans is going to change anything?

Maybe not this election, but we have a goober running for gov that has vowed to let illegals vote. That's wrong, period.

So asylum should be an automatic? We shouldn't reserve the right to refuse said asylum?

And what about this caravan suggests they will simply show up at a port of entry rather than trying to illegally cross our borders? Have they cared about immigration laws of the countries they've passed through?

You're making assumptions this will be a peaceful event. What if it isn't? Shouldn't we hope for the best but be prepared for the worst?

You quote me were I said political asylum seekers are immediately allowed into the country.

Your statement was they go to a port of entry and are granted entry. If you're granted entry, that would mean you are immediately allowed into the country, correct?

If they pass all the requirements to be granted entry, yes. That doesn't mean wide open borders.

I would assume you understood I meant by port of entry there would be requirements.

I assume nothing. Some would have us let anyone and everyone into this country while others would be happy to close our borders completely. I have no idea where you fall on that spectrum so there was no point in assuming.

These people are going to have to live in a tent city on the border as they wait months to have their requests denied because a bad economy and rampant crime in your homeland is not sufficient to receive asylum.
