Millions of Illegal Aliens From All Over The World Head For U.S. Border

No. If they claim asylum at a port of entry I have no issues with it after background checks. The wall issue was used to get votes, and it worked. Most of the border already has walls/fencing. People will go under, over, or around whatever we build. Massive waste of money imo.
But we know given history and present law they can enter anywhere and claim asylum. If you hender entrance illegally they have to file at port of entry. Hold them off until background check has been done.
That’s an answer I don’t have about working it out with Mexico. Maybe if Mexico was hung with 12,000 new dependents they would have fought a little more seriously about Hondurans entering their countries southern border and violating their sovereignty irregardless of their own laws.
Zep we can’t protect our citizens and just let everyone in. That doesn’t work. There are laws, illegal immigrants break them. The minute they step on US soil they have a misdemeanor, it should be a felony.
I have several reasons for that argument which I’ve voiced before. I’ve lived with the consequences of illegals in my town. I’m not blind to those who seek asylum for valid reasons and are good people. But there has to be some structure to that process. How many is too many? Why did we make immigration laws?

I have never once said there should be no process. I have never once said just let everyone in with no questions. I'd much rather undocumented migrants be registered and given citizenship so they can contribute beyond sales tax. Somebody has to pay for Trump's massive increases to the deficit.

I'll take the "I'm scared" Republican stance. Would you rather not have those entering the country documented, accounted for, paying taxes, and in the system?

I've known plenty of undocumented migrants, and they are good people trying to help their families. Our anecdotal experiences don't really matter though.

So the migrant crisis is a figment of our imagination?
It’s his go-to thought process. I’ve called him out years ago.

He views situations and events for how he WANTS them to be, not for what they are or how they are. He’ll write off facts that destroy his views as simply being irrelevant or even just non-existent (closes eyes and ears).

In other words, he starts with his conclusion and then works backward by accepting what he wants to be true and dismissing facts that go against his previously drawn conclusion.

He’s just a pawn for reason.com. He regurgitates what they put out without any question.

No, they're saying it's not a national defense problem because the pentagon said it's not a "threat".

"A Pentagon risk assessment found that the caravan did not pose a threat to the United States, according to a person with direct knowledge of U.S. intelligence. This person also said that the caravan would take about a month and a half to get to the U.S. border. "

Unclassified U.S. military documents obtained by Newsweek and published this past Thursday estimate that of roughly 7,000 migrants heading toward the U.S. border as of October 25 , just 20 percent "will make [the] entire journey." As the Post points out, this would equate to five U.S. troops for each migrant who makes it to the border.

Pentagon Reportedly Admits Migrant Caravan Doesn't Pose Threat, Might Still Spend $220 Million to Stop It

You can't make a good argument, so you attack the source. We get it.
Reason.com has some good info, but they’re just a biased publication like anyone else. They, like you, are agenda driven and stick to it.

The point is these people (who are passing through a country they can claim asylum, so they’re asylum claim here is bogus) will cost more than troops on the border. The best thing we can do, which won’t happen, is repel them. Thus, you can quit your crying.
