Slavery has been dealt with and “racism” has been dealt with just like it has in literally every other country in the world. Prejudices exist but it’s not as big a deal or as widespread as some make it out to beI think it’s cool that they took the power away and use it as a term of community. I also think it’s a great teaching tool for everyone. Racism and slavery have never fully been dealt with in this country. Stuff like this keeps the conversation going and we just do not have the individual power to eliminate a word.
Did a black person from UT deny the girl? I think we all agree she did not get a fair shake. The outrage has been incredible. The other guy was a kid too and doesn’t get near the empathy. I’ve heard him being called all kinds of names. A ton of which are racist. As you said earlier, it has to go both ways. We have a long way to go in this country.
I guess being humiliated on the MSM isn't enough. They have to instill a deep seated guilt. What a buffoon.

I think she can learn something from it, so I'd offer her the chance to say in school with some additional training.
And here we go. Insight into the thought process of a future politburo member. Funny how anyone on the left wants and expects to be shown grace, but dont want to extend it. No , no. Beat down on em’. Get them fired if able. Wreck them financially if you’re lucky. Its not enough to just apologize anymore and everyone move on. We need re-education. You ought to scare the living s**t out of yourself with that nonsense.
Can you imagine? Holy cow.... not only were people more tolerant.... they weren’t triggered and there was no social media.
I hesitate to weigh in on how wrong this kid was without more facts because there was some suggestion that he went to the school and they did nothing about it. If so, I sympathize with his position with being made to endure racial epithets by a high school that failed to do the right thing. That said, I think he will suffer consequences for this down the road. It might cost him job opportunities down the road. Employers may very well hesitate to hire someone who is so likely to publicize things like this. I wouldn't have handled it how he did but I dont live in his skin or his shoes.
Also, all he did was share the video online in response to her virtue signaling to be supportive of the BLM movement. What consequences befell her by other people reacting to her video are not on him but on her.
Kids aiming at each other with lawn darts.
Picking teams by inny, minny, mini, moe but not saying tiger.
I mean you could wreck half the boys lives in America with just a 5 minute snapshot of their childhood.
Everyone is the press in today's world. He is protected by the 1st amendment for his actions.
racial sensitivity training? I am pretty sure via the humiliation of having this splayed out over the MSM she has received more "training" than could be provided by a bunch of SJWs wagging their superior fingers at her. Good Lord you are one butthurt individual.I partially agree with this statement. UT would have been better served to pull her scholarship but let her remain as a student if she completed some racial sensitivity training. As an institute of higher learning, they have an obligation to teach.
Why should they pull her scholarship at all for something she said 3 years ago for which she has repeatedly apologized?
The real racism here is that a gay, biracial kid’s vindictiveness is given more importance than her apology.

And people used to think owning their fellow human beings like livestock was their god given right. Times changeI was edited just now for naming a game that actually existed.
I am not calling out the mods so please don't edit this.
I am just showing the difference between 2020 and the 80s.
Its fine that you edited me but we literally played this game and yelled this out loud and I can't even mention the games name now.
