I have a high school friend that runs a very nice restaurant in downtown Minneapolis. Was just texting with him.
In a nutshell, they are currently on track for a record in murders this year. He's boarded up his restaurant over 5 times now in the past 12 months. He was never a big gun guy but now carries personal firearm for protection. They are one of the last reputable restaurants on the street he is on and he's thinking about relocating to the burbs.
Sounds like a wise decision. I have friends in the Minneapolis area as well and was told the increase in crime is almost unbearable. Their car & garage has been broken into on several occasions in the past year. Never happened in the 15 years prior to 2020. Cops do not have enough resources to prevent any of that sh1t unfortunately. They are thinking about moving to a different part of MN or WI.I have a high school friend that runs a very nice restaurant in downtown Minneapolis. Was just texting with him.

The obvious response to this is your friend is obviously racist. He should take financial loss and the threat of violence as a badge of honor, a virtuous signal to humanity.I have a high school friend that runs a very nice restaurant in downtown Minneapolis. Was just texting with him.
