Nice straw-man and wizardry of semantics. You’ve repeatedly said If she wasn’t on the field it never happens. You’re blaming the victim entirely and have never condemned what Burton did. He shoved/hit 2 separate individuals that night 50 yards apart, why did nobody else have any issues? Nobody knows WTF Jermaine Burton is so it’s not like people are intentionally going after him. Bryce, Will, Kool-Aid, Henry T (the first person I’d talk smack to) all managed to get off the field without incident. He’s a hothead with issues and he’s the sole person to blame for what went down.

You’ve demonstrably proven you’ve never stepped foot in a classroom in Tuscaloosa with your incredulous way of thinking and lack of coherent reasoning. Of all alums I know, their standards are set much higher than you.

Shew ..a lot of words just to say I was right. If she had not been on the field, she would not have been "criminally assaulted." And great use of the word "semantic." Very impressive!!

Running onto a football field doesn’t move the needle on my compass of morality. However, juiced up athlete, slapping/clotheslining/pushing a girl half his size does. Hence, why one of us is a degenerate and the other is not ✌️

The question is, between Burton going out of his way to hit 2 different people, saban trying to justify his trash actions, or this douche defending him, who is the bigger piece of $hit? Personally i think its a 3 way tie

Did the other 50k people who rushed the field get hit? Did he strike all of the thousands of fans that were around him? Did his anxiety take over with her and did he have to strike all the fans after her too?

He was angry, not scared. It's why he waited until he had a one on one with a woman before he reacted. That exchange before the strike was probably the least scary part of people rushing the field.

You really think they wait 4 or 5 days to play the victim card if there was any truth to him being scared?

He is in counseling for anger management, allegedly, they waited so they could come up with a story that would sell. Bama didnt want to take the L they deserved so they concocted more bs like the goal posts being the wrong size.

Your same argument applies here. What did she do wrong? Being on the field isnt wrong or criminal. It's not even trespassing. She certainly wasnt the cause of the fine. And at 100k it's hard to see how that is supposed to be much of a deterrent for the reprehensively grave wrong of being on your own field.

We could also apply your same argument to Burton. He should have vacated the field pronto if he was worried. Or found some team mates or security for safety. Burton is the more responsible party here, what you are trying to argue is all to avoid that fact.

If he hadnt laid hands on her it never would have been an issue. He was the aggressor of the worse crime.

How how you, or I, know where she belongs? Or even Burton. There are plenty of people on the field after any game. Any particular reason UT's post game field experience gives Burton an excuse?

Like any bully he chose to only get aggressive when he had a clear advantage. One single white girl scared him so much that he had to reach out and hit her AFTER she was already past him.

If he was getting mobbed, or she had laid a hand on him first, you would have an argument. Burton chose violence to a non violent situation.

If my language offends you, maybe you need to take your coloring book & sippy cup back to your safe place-Tuscaloosa, where the condone & turn a blind eye to domestic assault…….. as long as you are a contributing member of the local sports teams……….
