Location doesnt matter. Like that NFL player tackling a fan during the game getting charged. It's not Burton's job to police the fans. Doesnt mean charges should stick on either case, just saying it doesnt make them right if someone else is wrong.

If you want to get into hypotheticals, she could have stayed in the stands and been assaulted after the game in the parking lot for all we know. The point of the matter is rather if she shouldn’t have been on the field, Burton is still in control of his actions.
