Missing Malaysia Airlines Jet

Nope I won't be happy! I look at things without PC blinders on!

If more people did the same lives would be saved!

How so? You think that in Malaysia they ought to just deny the privilege of air travel to all Muslims? Or, is this rooted in the fact that stolen passports were used for travel in and out of Malaysia?

Last I heard, Jesus was flying back down to earth to ring in the Last Judgment. He wasn't really paying attention though, and the 777 ran into him. The Jesus energy was so powerful, the plane (and all the passengers) were immediately vaporized. In the wake of the accident, Jesus realized this might not be the best time to reappear, went back up to heaven, and, again, was not paying attention. He ran into an asteroid. The asteroid split into multiple shards, and scientists are baffled. For the moment, God has placed Jesus in timeout.

Is there a gay Muslim barber terrorist group?

This is their work

Surprisingly VM's rat tail wasn't a work of terrorism.

That would suck for most people of the country.

Funny thing though, Middle Eastern and Hispanic men are hard to tell apart outside of them screaming "Allāhu Akbar!" prior to jumping in the plane. So it could just end up being a bunch of migrant workers telling a pilot where to dump the load.

Mav would say they were drug cartel members then.

On a tangent here, I had a Bradley commander who was Muslim (oddly, he never killed me), but getting field chow in Korea, the KATUSAS couldn't comprehend the no pork rule, thought he was kidding. Dude about lost his mind.

Neither did my Muslim interpreter. But, then again, he drank a lot so he probably wasn't a good Muslim.

Now they are saying this Iranian booked tickets at least once a month, sounds more like human trafficking more than terror.

Mav is a conundrum wrapped in a conspiracy that has a dilemma on top.

If the cop does approach them and it ends up being a bunch of farmers planning on spraying their fields, it's the cops overstepping their bounds and we are virtually living in a police state!

If they don't approach and the guys commit a terrorist act, the cops weren't doing their jobs and are useless!

Screwed either way...

Interesting quote, but I can't say I full-heartedly agree. I don't believe most (if any) conspiracy theories, but I don't believe what our wise overlords tell us either. The example of the banks...it's not any sort of nefarious conspiracy. Most in power have good intentions, but that is part of the problem. They think they know how to make their ideal world, and like Moore suggests, they don't have that kind of control so they end up with horrible unintended consequences.

I thought the part about conspiracy theories being more comforting that the frightening specter of happenstance was interesting twist.

America is most definitely rudderless

I don't think America is, per se. But there are some major institutions that are struggling to maintain a worthwhile role in the process.

The current US House is as dysfunctional a governmental entity as there has ever been in this country.

You can't limit that to just the House. The entire government is dysfunctional and that's regardless of which party happens to be in power.

Doesn't help to have the worst potus in history either. He pretty much overrides anything the house attempts anyway so that's a moot point.
