Missing Malaysia Airlines Jet

I don't think America is, per se. But there are some major institutions that are struggling to maintain a worthwhile role in the process.

The current US House is as dysfunctional a governmental entity as there has ever been in this country.

At this point, a pilot suicide seems as likely as terrorism.

If the plane exploded at 30,000 feet, they should have found debris by now.

Like the Egypt Air flight a while back? Even if it crashed in the water, there should have been some sort of wreckage that surfaced by now.

Bizarre.

If the Muslim pilot ditched the plane in a suicide/terror incident, why no call or claim of responsibility for what he was going to do/did ?

Same reason as Egypt Air 990. Nobody ever claimed responsibility for that one either and it was assumed to be a suicide on the part of the co-pilot.

Mav is the True Detective.

Niece of Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah began tweeting about the MAS MH370 flight around 10am morning when she said “not a good way to wake up. My heart beats so fast when I heard the news. Pray for everyone for everyone on board. #MH370”.

She later tweeted praying to God asking Him to protect her Uncle Zaharie, the cabin crew and passengers

She also retweeted a relative saying “phatanchovy: Allahuakbar… My heart sank when I saw Uncle’s name. Ya Allah, please protect Uncle, the cabin crew and passengers. Ya Allah”.

I bet authorities know more than has been publicly disclosed. Unreported plane transmissions, surveillance video, pre-flight chatter, something.

You'd be surprised. Many international flights, especially long trips over water don't make a lot of transmissions and only report when required. Sure there may be some radar or gps data out there they haven't sorted out yet, and it would be premature for them to release anything that they aren't sure of yet, but I doubt there is much they are keeping undisclosed at this point. For the most part, this is one of those times where it would be in the best interests of anyone involved to disclose helpful information. The only circumstance I could imagine would be if someone accidentally shot it down and they don't want to admit it for fear of repercussions.

Again I ask u did anyone claim responsibility in the week after 9/11?

Uh, yes. Yes they did. Not only that, they followed a script they had written a few years before (and we had copies of from a raid in Manilla). Most in the business were pretty certain who did it before the 2nd plane hit, it took a day or so before we had confirmation.
