1. The team played really hard, just couldn't get it done in the end. This is a great learning experience for the team.

2. Coach Martin made the right decision. Put the ball in your best player's hand. It just didn't work out.

3. Despite the last play, Trae Golden was fantastic tonight. He's starting to become quite the player.

4. Four point loss, and you got ZERO from Cam Tatum and Jordan McRae.

5. Speaking of Cam Tatum, he is forcing things wayyyyyyy too much. He has to realize his strength on offense. The 3 ball.

6. The interior defense was weak tonight in the second half. They have to rotate better and move their feet.

7. That game would have been really interesting if Maymon was not in foul trouble. He was feeling it tonight.

8. The Vols shouldn't hang their hands. SEC road wins are extremely tough. You got a great chance for a mega upset Saturday.

0 points from Tatum and Mcrae? How on Earth does this happen? I mean really, it tells you all you need to know about this team.

Thought we played a great game against a team that tried their hardest to give the game away. The refs didn't help us out at all and we were still in position to win. We should be competitive on Saturday. Here's hoping Stokes is ready to go on Saturday.

Beat Kentucky.

SEC ranked opponent on the road, but still the game was ours to have, State looked lazy all night

If anything, we played hard against an SEC team that performs exceptionally at home. Hopefully Stokes will give us what we need.

This was a great effort that ended in a less-than-desired result. It definitely shows a light at the end of the tunnel. I am excited for a CCM-led team with talent on the floor.

As upset as I am that we did not even get a shot to tie or win, I must admit that this team is giving me reason to hope for THIS year. And when Jarnell joins us, we will only get better. You can call me stupid, but I still have hopes that we can make the NCAA tourney. It is just in my nature I guess. So for that reason, I am quite bothered that we just missed what would have been a nice resume builder.

But again, my final verdict on this game is a positive one. I only caught the end of the game, but I was following the score the whole time. It is real nice to see our team fight back on the road in the second half like that. That is NOT an easy thing to do. We are only getting better, and despite that dreadful start to the season, it appears we may just have a decent team to cheer for this year.

Side note: I live in Kentucky. If we beat UK, EVERYONE here will be hearing it from me. I truly do not know that there are many people who would enjoy this upset more than I would.

Maymons 4th foul was inexcusable.

I hope they have something left for Saturday. That comeback took a lot of energy.

Ignorance is you saying that point guard play would keep this team from the Postseason 6 games into the season. WOW

Really? Really? Six games into the season? You want to check what game the ETSU game was? And again, I told you this, but you chose not to read, that I was talking about previous games, because our PG play hurt in 3 or 4 losses. Geesh.
