Missouri QB Out

Forecast: When we beat Mizzo and their fans say it only happened because JF was hurt we will remind them of their Georgia game and who didn't play because of a Tennessee player being fierce and aggressive and taking no prisoners.

I'd say Franklin means more to Mizzou than the guys UGA is missing.

Of course, you're also getting ahead of yourself assuming we beat them now. We already lost to a backup QB this year.

Yea cause a statement based on our history is negative. Grow up stop with thw name calling.

Our history? How far back are you going? You do know we have a new coach and staff right? So are you pinning the miscues from the Dooley era on Butch? I'm just trying to determine the source of your negativity?

What I meant was: was it better to have beaten a top 10 UGA in Athens, but lose Franklin, and possibly be starting at a 7-8 win season at best? (presuming he's not back until the bowl game)

Or would it be better if you lost this game but still had him, and were looking at maybe 8 wins at worst, but possibly more (depending on USCe and maybe even UF)?

I thought Mizzou had a small chance to beat UF at home. I think they beat USCe if Mauk runs the system efficiently. A good chance with UT at home. Even better odds vs UK and Ole Miss. aTm is a loss imo. So 8-9 wins is not unrealistic.

1st. Your probably correct. But I never said anything to dispute that. Your kind of missing the point I was trying to make. If you think that having those Georgia players back and not hurt would not have made a sizable difference then I don't agree with you. JIMO. There are many reasons that I don't have many minutes to explain.

2nd. I'm just playing around and being positive. Obviously only the negavols know what is going to happen in that game.
I think it is possible, but we have to play great.

CBS just saying that James Franklin (Mizzou) has a separated shoulder and will miss 6 weeks. Is this good for us?

50/50. Good that their best player, the most important player on the field won't play vs us. Bad because historically, backup players filling in vs UT ALWAYS look like Heisman trophy candidates on the verge of breaking every NCAA record known to man.

See I think with Mauk (what we saw today was they really weren't comfortable at all having him throw the ball) the UF and USCe chances disappear...and depending on how good/comfortable he is, that might determine the UT and/or Ole Miss game now.

He's a RS FR so he doesn't have that experience reading defenses and knowing what to do in certain situations.

A&M is just more of a loss than it was but still, they have essentially the same type of defensive problems that UGA has so far.

I think we may have just caught a huge break.

I think you're right. I just hate to see it happen in this kind of way, especially to a kid of Franklin's character and resolve. He seems to be a really good guy.

Why bring racial slurs into this
Posted via VolNation Mobile

I believe that would be replacing the e with an I and having two gs Broski. But even that's slang more than a racial slur.
