Missouri's defense fell hard after Pinkel got sick and had to leave.

Which is kind of odd because you'd think hiring the DC would mean they picked a guy at least capable of fielding somewhat of a defense...but no just keep on running that Big 12 DB-heavy defense your DC ran at TCU.

The refs could let them build a brick wall and use tank fire and that defense still wouldn't be able to stop the run.
