For the record, Missouri State was 4-7 last year and they scored 7 points or fewer 4 times. Their losses included two shutouts:

Kansas State 35 Missouri State 0
Illinois State 37 Missouri State 0

plus other losses:

Youngstown State 65 Missouri State 20
Northern Illinois 61 Missouri State 7
North Dakota State 27 Missouri State 3
South Dakota State 49 Missouri State 24

It is incredible that they scored 35 points at Missouri in the first half. That is an atrocious team.

I am not sure if Missouri's defense got better or if MoSt's offense just got tired and ran out of gas.

IMO, MoState ran out of gas. That game turned into a track meet and they do not have the depth for that.

Mizzou fan base will probably be chest thumping about this game based upon score and forgetting how horrendous their defense is.

Celebrating/showboating before the TD has been a penalty for a while now though.

It was a rule the coaches pushed for in the hopes of preventing later-in-game fights (and player-specific targeted hits made as later retaliation).

Probably not likely. Most of them had realized just how much of a garbage fire their defense was last year and how difficult / much of a coin toss it made every game against any team.

I'd imagine most of the realistic ones are going "well crap...this again"
