Mitch Mustain...

Experince is not critical for any position. Like I said freshman play well at every single position every single yr.

Hopeless and clueless guys. Good luck with him.

So I guess he thinks because a freshman plays well for Georgia and one plays well for say Florida, we can just plug 5 freshman in there and they'll "play well". Hell why not just start 22 true freshman then?

Then why do you say "if" we get Mustain we'll be 9-3 or 10-2. Shouldn't we be 9-3 or 10-2 no matter who our QB is since experience isn't critical, important...?

Take out the experience factor and what is the difference between Mustain, Simms, or Bray?

We will be starting multiple freshman.

Which is not really a good thing...will pay dividends down the road unless their knees get trashed in the process. I hope Fulton, James, Stone and Pair can contribute. They will almost be asked to since we are not two deep at the SEC level on the OL.

because qb is the most important position. The difference between mustain and simms is that mustain has tons of talent and simms doesnt.

Wow! After reading some of OBP1's posts regarding experience and depth being overrated I am just floored how come you're not a highly sought after pee wee FB coach.

I'm with you on that. I think in the SEC that linemen really need experience. Also that brings up a problem I have with all the Florida hype. Why do people think their freshmen on Defense will be world-beaters from the get go?

and throw in the fact that they have a new DC. there is that one kid on the line that was murdering in the AA game, though. he scares me. Easly maybe? not sure.

Do you remember Robert Rose for OSU destroying people years back? I'm not impressed yet. I want to see what happens when he's playing guys that are going to hit him in the mouth every down.

dont remember him but your point is very valid. i also remember Star Jackson tearing it up in the AA a few years back. look at him now.

experience is somewhat important. Depth is somewhat important. Neither is more important that talented starters. Ill take our chances with shaw pope stocker james and stone over at least half of the sec olines.

That's 5 guys, and Stocker is a TE. Hate to nit pick but you could at least name a full starting OL. Oh and guess what, they'll need to take breathers at some point and even if none are seriously injured, some will get banged up and miss plays. That's where the back ups come in and why depth is important. I don't know why I bothered to respond to you though if you're still holding to your guns after others have shot your theory full of holes. :hi:

we have 13 scholly lineman.... should have a decent starting 5
stocker is an elite TE and will help the line out

we wont be great by any means but if we go injury free a 7-5 record seems do-able

Yeah..doesn't even look like our projected starting OL. I left it alone but since you responded thought I'dd add to it.

I'm done so as not to sidetrack the OP/thread topic...if not too late already.
