So I think the coaching staff would have to carefully evaluate Mustain before extending an invite for him to come here.

I think this was more along the lines of the B. Brown situation we had. High rated recruit comes in and you are compelled to give him the pt if the margin of difference isn't that large.

I got an idea: Instead of believing the ESPN twitter, someone check if he has a twitter or facebook account so we can read what he really has to say.

If he doesnt take this golden opportunity to transfer SOMEWHERE that he can start he is a complete idiot. LK will never give him the job over Barkley, no matter who performs better. He has to know that. He can either go to a different D1 school and prove he is a 1st-3rd round NFL talent......or toil behind Barkley and MAYBE get drafter in the 7th round like Cassel. Thats a big pay difference. I would be shocked if he didnt transfer out somewhere. I know we have a crap O-Line......but we have TONS of talent at the starting WR, TE and RB positions to make a QB look good. I wouldn't necessarily come to UT in his situation......but there isnt many other big-time D1 QB positions as open as ours, with our talent at receiver.

As I mentioned in the other thread. Why not get some of our Facebook stalkers and get them to get in his ear. Someone mentioned that he was looking at Mississippi State. So maybe he hasnt even pondered on the idea of Tennessee. Just me rambling with a stupid idea.

Guys, I don't remember where I read or heard about it, but I remember a while back (maybe around last August) that Mitch had started slacking on the field because he has a sugar mama out there. Apparently he is dating a 40-ish super rich lawyer and it has distracted him from football. I don't remember the source of the info, but it seemed very credible at the time. If that's the case, there's no way the guy is going to transfer.

not sure he would bring much to the table. he has been sitting for 3 years whihout meaningful snaps at college level. LIkely, he has decided football is over for him and just riding it out..

I'm not sure if Mustain will leave or not, but if he wants a chance to play somewhere his senior season and he can play immediately, he has a free ticket out. I think he is crazy not to leave, if he truly wants to play. He is going to warm the bench behind Barkley if he stays.
