Mitchell blames Burdick for Technicals

After the delusional recap of what happened with Izzy, mine looks a little different. Again, highly recommend! :)

boy or should I say child It seem's like half no 90%
of the time you don"t know what you are talking about...

seems like all you want is to cause trouble.if anyone should be on the ignore IT IS YOU:crazy:

Yes, it should have been a flagrant foul with the Lady Vols getting two shots and ball possession.Technical fouls on Burdick and Walker came later, when with Graves walking Burdick away,Walker again started mouthing from Kentucky's huddle.Lisa Maddingly had to check Tennessee's huddle to see who she was talking to before calling the t's.And,no,Holly,it did not end up being the right call, except the two t's on Burdick and Walker for jawing. I think that may be what Holly agreed with on the call.As for conn getting the calls like the LV's,they don't know how to play five against eight, which the LV's have been doing for some years now.Geno would never last the first half of any game.He and his teams are used to playing eight on five, just as Kentucky is. As other posters have noted, had the officials handled the first episode in the way they should

have, the second episode would not have happened.

Uconn doesn't get many fouls, lol Lville last game went to the foul line once mable 2 times in the game

Who is this Mable you speak of? Was she an official?

And, CT is a very small state. :) I can attest to that as I lived there for quite some time.

Unbelievable, that's during part of the period I lived there. Moved to Willimantic in late '69. Then moved to N. Windham for a few and later moved to Storrs on Dog Lane while attending UCONN. But, you didn't hear it on here that I actually went to UCONN. If you attended football games in the '70's, then you'll probably remember partying on the hill overlooking the field during the games. We used to play pick up basketball in the UCONN gym on Saturdays and pick up football on the small field next to it on Sundays. Spent many an hour at Diana's Pool, uh contemplating the scenery through hazes of smoke.:) Please tell me that I don't know you.:)

Come back, Ruggy. There's a possibility that we may have met. Hope that hasn't scared you off.:whistling:

My best friend was in SAC and when his time was up, he lived with us in CT for a short time before he got his book with the Ironworkers. So, there a bit more in common, sort of.

We went to the Shaboo every weekend, if you remember that place. Friend of mine played in Dirty Tricks which was the house band. Used to stop at the Shell Chateau after work in the morning for drinks and pool. If you remember the club across from the memorial park thing on Main Street in Willimantic, two of my friends owned that. Did a lot of weekends at Mansfield Hollow dam with the family summer and winter. The best grinder shop ever was located below street level on the left just before the rotary and the old thread mill.

The men's team sucked back then, but I watched all the games that were televised locally, which was most of them.

I'm sure it's all changed in the 35 years or so since I've been gone. I really enjoyed living there at that time. We used to go to Misquamicut Beach a lot back then and ski at Pittsfield, MA. Fun times. I'm guessing you're close to my age so we may have been in the same places a few times and never met.

yes got stuck down here three years now ,love the weather,,built a big dam house the wife wanted,,but those dam fire ants

Are you in Tennessee now? Just had a flashback to the old days. I went to a Springsteen concert in '72 or '73 at the Shaboo. Tickets were a couple of bucks as were all the band performances were back then.

Nevermind the location, just noticed the SC location. Fire ants are the devil. I encountered them when I live in Texas south of Dallas. I still have the little scars.

If you ever make it through Knoxville, holler at me. Would be nice to meet for lunch some weekend.

lol gota say night to ya got two boards going same time also going to ask to be on friends list ...think on this tho orange never talk to ya funny I enjoy her/him

it was a cheap shot,it should have been called a flagrant foul, there is no doubt about that,as to what was said after wards,we will most likely never know

but Burdick is the one that looks to take care of her teammates, our enforcer if you like, which is way to strong of a word for her

it was another case of poor officiating by the SEC officials, they should of had a handle on it in the first half, instead of letting cheap shots be gotten away with

I'm not a fan of everybody saying it is the post season, let em play ,call the fouls like they have been all year,of course there is no telling what kind of calls you get from one game to the next and crap like this will most likely not happen

come on Refs lets have some consistency on calls
