Mizzou

Milroe is better than Cook for one, Not sure A healthy Milton isn’t better either. Guy has some good wr's. He's athletic but he isn't as good as some of the others. Georgia's qb is better also. Probably the 5th or 6th best QB in the SEC

I know milroe showed out last night, I didn't watch was at a taylor swift showing for my daughter's birthday ha, but I kept up with the score. Milroe has improved from when we played him. Don't know if last night was a one off for milroe or he's turned the corner. Look at it like this, if cook was bama qb and milroe was mizzou qb would we be having this discussion? We haven't played beck yet so the jury is still out on that one. Cook would shred it in our offense as well.

After beating Mizzou so bad last year it’s surprising to think they could beat us this year but they have improved a ton

It’ll going to be a good game. I think we can beat them, but things have to go our way and we can’t beat ourselves

It’s weird to me why so many people on this board are unwilling to just admit that Missouri might actually be good. They gave Georgia a hell of a game yesterday. Too much overconfidence on this board and people have been saying Mizzou is “fool’s gold” for weeks but it’s never materialized.

That game is going to be brutal. We’re not a good road team and Mizzou is going to abuse our secondary. As long as we hold them to 3 instead of 7, we can win. But this is going to be a really tough game and losing to Mizzou isn’t “inexcusable” this year like some in this thread have alluded, too. They’re a Top 15 team….

No he wouldn't his numbers arent great. Our Wrs afe just now getting some seperation and Milton is healthy. I highly doubt he would have beaten Joe out either.

I agree, but I will say Joe has been playing better the past several games. Feels like the coaching staff and Milton have started to figure things out more.

I'm most worried about the O-line, which has struggled to some extent on every road game this season. And we've had a lot of injuries to make it worse.
OLines road struggles were against UF (without Mays) and Bama where the team was better and the environment more hostile than Missouri. I thought they did pretty well against KY and I think they will be good against Missouri.

They gave UGA a hell of a game last year too. They are ok. And we may lose if we dont play well. Same can be said for just about any road game in this conference. Acting like they are some juggernaut though is tiresome. What was the final score in the game last season after they gave UGA a hell of a game ? Anyway I won't write us off to go in and beat their ass and take their lunch money

They aren’t the same team as last year. That’s not a fair comparison. And I’m not implying they are a juggernaut, but it’s a road game against a Top-15 opponent and I think a lot of our fans expect us to waltz in and beat them by 40.

We may beat them by 40 or 4 just win. No team in America is the same team as last year. Everyone has a different make up. I am sure they will be fired up after the ass whippings they received. They think they are better. However I feel good about our guys and finally playing some good ball.

We will need to play our best game to beat Missouri on the road. They had a couple bad calls against Georgia yesterday that impacted the game. They have the best WR in the conference, good complementary WRs and RB, and a confident QB who can run. We will have to shutdown their run game (which GA couldn’t do) and consistently put pressure with front four. Their 3rd down efficiency isn’t great.

Defensively Missouri is very aggressive and blitzes a lot. Joe is going to have to get ball out fast. I don’t think they will stop our rush attack and are susceptible to big plays because they gamble a lot. Missouri also has a great kicker with 60 yard range.

Should be a close game. We need to play clean as we won’t beat them if we continue to give up a lot of penalty yardage.

You drunk already on a Sunday? 8-4 was what was projected by a lot of people and Mizzou is pretty good this year. I don't think we will lose but it's not the end of the world if we do. Huepel isn't going anywhere
Of course Josh is not going anywhere. What I’m saying is that he can’t lose Mizzou after losing to UF. Has nothing to do with him being fired or even his seat warming up.

My concern is the amount of penalties this team commits. We can’t get behind the chains and our DBs can’t “hold” as the refs will call it. I’m not sure why we commit so many penalties but it’s occurred all season.

I know Burden went down with an ankle injury and tried to play through it but he didn’t look the same. Cook went down too but I don’t recall him returning? Maybe he did. Anyway I’m sure they’ll both be out there but it will be interesting to see how much they’ll be able to contribute.

Arguably the best QB UT will face this year. On the road. If nothing changes, UT’s secondary is going to get shredded. They have been terrible. A shootout would not bode well for UT.
Thats why getting Gibson snaps against UCONN was crucial.

If he can play a solid 30 snaps, that will help a lot.
Then Slaughter, Jeudly-Lali can be more fresh late in the game.

My word choice might have been poor. He will not get fired or even get his seat warmed up but he can’t lose to mizzou after losing to UF.

This still seems hyperbolic. He “can’t” lose to Missouri? That’s a tougher game than the Florida game so trying to imply this would be a bad loss is just incorrect.

We all want to go 10-2, but 9-3 would still be a successful season so whether it’s UGA or Mizzou as long as we win 1 of them we’re fine.

You can't compare the Milroe we saw in game 1 or 2 to the one who played LSU last night. He has found his legs and gained confidence. He and Bama will be tough to beat the rest of this season.

Its called developememt and yes he is a better qb than Cook. I'd say he played well against us too. I would also agree Bama will likely win the SEC. We will see I guess what GA can do next week.
