That is why I prefaced that statement by sayin "When he is healthy. If he happens to stay somewhat healthy in Chicago you got a steal. If he doesn't, well that was to be expected and the Cubs have plenty of money so I don't think it will be that big of a deal.

In light of the Smoltz mess, the Braves scored two big pickups in Japanese picher Kamikawa and DEREK LOWE- who the Mets didn't think was going to be picked up by anybody else.
