Per the Rockies front office Cuddyer will not be traded. Never thought he would be his name just kept popping up on a few sites

Was just about to post this. He has struck out 39% of at bats this year which would put him second highest in the major's behind Chris Carter's 42%.

No infatuation. Just a guy to throw in and see if he can maybe be productive. This trade was about pitching. That's all the cubs want. Position player wise, they're fine.

Not sure anybody was saying the cubs viewed Olt as the center, but it seems like every story leads off talking about him. With the way Edwards has been pitching this year he was probably the biggest pick up of the trade. Granted he is the furthest from being ML ready.

Olt had eye issues and has been playing much better since correcting it.
