I mean we’ve been nationally relevant for a year basically to most recruits. Clemson, Bama, Georgia and schools like those have a history of success which helps them close faster. Tennessee is building momentum, the closing will happen soon. Clemson went through these same growing pains in recruiting back when Dabo was hired.

Your first sentence is a little disingenuous. How do you make a guy commit here? I know people will say oh just offer enough money. That’s not always the case. Some of you make it sound like it’s just easy to land an elite recruit. UGA just missed on the #1 LB in its own state. Closing strong is a lot more difficult than some want to think.

Oh I have all the confidence in the world in this staff. It’s still a long ways to go. I have no doubt we will close strong, it’s just that time of year where the dominos start falling and we are all antsy. This month and next things are fixing to pick up. I am just ready to see us pick up the momentum again, I know it’s coming! GBO!!!!

My first sentence is wrongly worded. I know we will close on some big ones, I was just caught in the moment of a few others that came off the board quickly. We are doing all we can do, we will get ours and things are always evolving. June and July will be big months for us. I was just guilty of being a little antsy in the moment with Fountain and at first I thought something had happened with Boo, but found out we are still looking good there. I never expected Westco to be a Vol. Just ready to start our great haul, it’s coming. We won’t stop recruiting Fountain either! GBO
