I agree, we got a good staff that can identify talent and good character that fits well with the team. There are other components besides talent that we don’t see behind the scenes. I am glad we have a staff that builds a solid foundation with high character guys and talent. GBOIf they fail to find and develop talent then that will be the time to talk about how they didn't close deals or play the game right. Some of those same recruits will be in the portal in a year or two. Many will feel they were misled and betrayed. They will remember who recruited them right.... and they'll tell others including future recruits who was truthful.
USCw seems to have recently engaged in some "slick" games and negative recruiting. That may work at least short term. But having integrity in something not particularly known for integrity... will win you the right kinds of guys over time either as initial signees or transfers.
IOW's, let the facts come in before declaring failure.
PS- there is plenty of talent out there which includes guys without the high rankings. Just find talent.
I’m afraid this kid will unfortunately end up a Dawg. Is there a better closer and flipper in the game than Kirby Smart?
I don't disagree, gotta have dudes on DL/OL; yet, more and more, these days, those dudes on DL can be neutralized somewhat by a playmaker under center. Use to, if the pass rush was unstoppable, offenses had no chance. Now, an elite QB has a chance to beat an unstoppable pass rush...elite QBs CAN win those types of games. Not for me in this class. I think guys like Nwaneri are special. We don’t get in it for guys like that very often. The SEC is a trenches league. Gotta have good OL and DL.
We got the Qb’s, we can use a few more interior DL. Nwaneri looks to be a special talent that Garner could probably get the most out of. We are building depth everywhere, no shortcuts but laying a great foundation! I'd easily say Dabo is a better closer than Kirby. Nobody is on the level that Bobby Bowden was. And he did it without NIL. And I say Heup is a pretty good closer himself, just needs to keep adding to the 22 class momentum. Supposedly this is the class we see momentum from last year's 12-2 Team. GBO!

Kirby sucks. Dabo sucks. Bowden sucks. Saban sucks. Meyer sucks. Richt sucks. If it ain’t UT Orange, who caresI'd easily say Dabo is a better closer than Kirby. Thanks for the update. Keep up updated!Nwaneri is about as close to a NFL first round lock as anyone on our board. He has elite traits and good size. He is explosive in the trenches. We should just send the NIL Brinks truck to his house. He’s worth it. He should be your #1 want in this class. Matthews is also an amazing talent, but Heup could turn my grandma into a 1000 yard receiver in this O. Nwaneri is a difference maker at more valuable position.
We’re in a good place for him now. His OV here should solidify what I’m hearing.
