'24 MO DL Williams Nwaneri (Mizzou commit)

Been saying this for months. Oil is still big money.
Oil is a part but not as much as in the past. Texas is pretty diverse economically now.

Texas graduates a lot of kids. Their undergrad enrollment is over 40K. OSU is approaching 50K... I think it is about double UT. Eventually the shear number of graduates makes a difference.

NIL just started. Not everyone plays the same game Alabama does. Why do you think Alabama is so unhappy with NIL?

They may be unhappy but it certainly isn’t going to hurt them in recruiting as long as Saban is there. I don’t know why people keep believing the myth about the Texas schools having unlimited funds. They don’t. If they did, TAMU would have fired Fisher already and have whatever coach in the nation an offer no other school could match.

It’s a big weekend for Rodney Garner. Not in terms of numbers but more in terms of quality. Two massive targets are in town as Williams Nwaneri and Kamarion Franklin make their way to Rocky Top.
Nwaneri continues to be a Tennessee and Oklahoma battle with Georgia trying to get in that lead group. Franklin and Tennessee have been jiving for a while but Auburn and Ole Miss continue to present a thorn for Tennessee. Will this weekend provide clarity for either? Maybe but most importantly this weekend needs to provide momentum for the Vols with both if they are going into lane one or possibly both.

Williams Nwaneri got into town late last night. His official visit is underway today. I am told his player host for the official visit is fellow Missourian Chandavian Bradley The two didn’t know much about each other earlier this year when I asked, but they have hit it off a little bit lately from what I’ve gathered.

They’ll be around multiple people throughout the weekend, obviously but Chandavian is one that can relate to Williams as a well-known recruit from the Midwest that had a lot of options to choose from. It’s not so much about knowing campus as it is relatability, in my opinion.
