You know that just because you’re the number 1 player in the state doesn’t mean you’re a 5 star player right? You know what, let’s count those two, just for you. You said 5, who’s your 5th?1) Nico Lamaleava (1st overall player)
2) Daevin Hobbs (# 1 player in North Carolina)
3) Cam Seldon ( # 1 player in Virginia)
4) Arion Carter ( # 1 player)
and many mny MORE
@LittleVol thinking we signed 5 5* in 2023.
@Austin_Price Curious what has changed since this post? We obviously have a decent shot at both. From the podcast today it sounds like an either or situation.. Simply not enough NIL for both?
I believe he's mentioned before that NIL amounts aren't discussed until a prospect is on an OV, so this weekend will be telling for both Nwaneri and FranklinI’ll have a better feel after this weekend
Can’t imagine we don’t have enough NIL for both. Could solidify the dline. Both top 5 overall on the board I would assume, next to Matthews, wingo, and maybe a OL or DB.I believe he's mentioned before that NIL amounts aren't discussed until a prospect is on an OV, so this weekend will be telling for both Nwaneri and Franklin

Hard to land multiple five-stars, especially in the NIL era.
Well, I'm saying it's hard to land multiple five-stars at one position in particular. But as I said earlier, if you look back at the team rankings over the years, you'll see that any team signing more than two five-stars in the same class is recruiting incredibly well. It's very hard to do.
As for Tennessee having an advantage in NIL, it's hard to quantify that in a lot of ways. But the bottom line is that the NIL landscape is much, much more competitive across the country than it was 15 or 18 months ago. It comes down to allocation of resources, really, more so than one particular collective just having significantly more money than another.
