In a word- yes. The guys being recruited now were just starting school when the worst of the "self esteem" non-sense was running through education. They were the unfortunate ones to be subjected to T-ball games where score wasn't kept. They were taught their feelings meant more than facts and anyone who offended them... "hated them". That last one still seems dominant today sadly. The generation that raised them really screwed the pooch huh
"Soft" manifests itself in "hyper" behavior. Hyper-sensitivity and hyper-aggression. There's a lack of balance and discipline to enable them to handle criticism or difficulty in a healthy way. They at least taught them how to pass the blame. It’s always someone else’s fault, ya know.
(Also, this generation is anything but soft)
Agree. No one has a ****ing clue. I'm done with this until kid commits.

Man. I don’t wanna start an argument with you, but I am so sick of this narrative. My dad was born in 1960, and I promise you there’s no way he’d have wanted to play for somebody as tough as Rodney Garner, either. He quit playing football after one pileup, and to this day complains about how hard his coach was on him. Nor would my grandpa, who quit the Air Force during basic training because “I hated waking up early”.This generation is too soft.
There is definitely some TN smoke in this recruitment but I will say that Mizzou has a card to play no one else can match. IF he commits to Mizzou, he can start receiving NIL from that school on Sept 1st. Any Missouri resident who commits to a state school can receive early NIL.Ap latest
What happens if they commit to a state school then flip on signing day? There is definitely some TN smoke in this recruitment but I will say that Mizzou has a card to play no one else can match. Both he and Wingo have been told by Mizzou how much they could get early. Will be a roller coaster recruitment week for Nwaneri.
It sounds like you’re from a whole family of softies lolMan. I don’t wanna start an argument with you, but I am so sick of this narrative. Acting like this is exclusive to this generation is absurd. Every generation has had its share of softies. I remember when a ton of older people believed video games were going to turn my sister and I into terrorists. Plus, it does need to be said: if it’s so soft, then how much of the blame is on the generation who raised them?
