'24 MO WR Ryan Wingo (Texas commit)

In no way am I doubting White will be a star for us. I love the player and I think his ceiling is very, very high. I'm just saying it’s ridiculous to declare Squirrel will be better when Jalin arguably just had the best season in Tennessee history, for a wide receiver. Statistically and impactfully.

Seems simple to me. It’s a little bonkers anyone is saying that any WR will be better than him. Special, special season he just had.

First Georgia was the best team in the country, just want to get that out of the way. Second Tennessee much like Ohio State was the worst possible matchup for Georgia. Unfortunately our Oline played like dog crap; Hooker took accountability but he was severely limited by our Oline getting manhandled. Wasn’t able to have a clean pocket or step into throws most of that game. DBs did a good job for Georgia as well but the game was lost in the trenches.
I think Hooker was given time to throw most of the game. The receivers were being held a lot and the windows were tight. Hooker doesn't take risks, so he held the ball longer than probably any other game. Most of the unblocked sacks he took were from guys that a RB or TE should've blocked. The o-line certainly didn't play their best, but they didn't play like "dog crap".

How quickly we forget 5 touchdowns against a Nick Saban Alabama team.

Hyatt is our only Biletnikoff winner, and owns or is second in almost every team single season receiving record, and a likely first round draft selection.... and you're ready to declare Squirrel as being better?

I mean, I don't see it. Not rooting against it. In fact I'm hoping its true. But I think it's taking lightly what Hyatt turned himself into.
Well when Hyatt got here he didn’t have the greatest hands but to his credit he worked on it and late in his junior year he finally started showing the signs of being a top notch reciever and last year it finally came together. Squirrel in his first year demonstrated he has natural catching ability and is also capable of getting behind a defense. Squirrel is very much on schedule to put up great numbers. Yes I will say it, Squirrel looks like a natural athlete with great hands and a burner. I expect him to be more effective earlier than Hyatt did, he is on a great pace already and what helps is just like with Hyatt we have other receivers to worry about that are matchup problems. Yes I expect Squirrel to make the exact same type impact or greater for that matter. I am not saying Squirrel the freshman was better than Hyatt the senior. I am saying Squirrel the freshman outperformed Hyatt the freshman. Squirrel is a fluid natural talent, he is gonna be fun to watch! They are all going to be fun to watch. The running and passing game. GBO

Hot take

Squirrel will be our first Heisman...

Idk if you’ve watched the game again since then but yeah the interior line got their asses whipped. He couldn’t step into most throws throughout the game.

I have and I don't agree. I know the interior got beat at times, but the overall performance wasn't dog crap. Hooker didn't play his best, the backs didn't block edge blitzes well, the o-line played a C game, and the refs let UGA hold the receivers. The blame is well spread in that game and it isn't just on the o-line.

Predicting what Bama will look like 4-5 years from now is not in any way factual. I would venture to say it's more likely than not. Definitely not a fact.

Well based off Saban's history as a Coach, it's definately very factual. I hate it but he isn't all of a sudden gonna forget how to Coach or recruit. If you think they are suddenly gonna fall off, I'd love to place a 5-10k bet with you. That's my average wager and I feel very confident I'd win that. Lemme know if you're down..We can get Freak to pin the page or something.

It's against Freaks rules to gamble....

So no.

And it's a stupid beat anyway. You'd lose.

I just don’t see Saban coaching no more than 3-4 more years at most. I could be wrong and he goes another 5-8 or more but I just don’t see it. They are still going to be a top team but it isn’t going to get any easier competing for sec and national championships. And how many loses will tide fans be able to absorb if they miss out on titles at 10-3 or even 11-2 seasons? But I don’t see them dropping off either, they will contend. This isn’t about Saban it’s about any great coach at 70 and coaching in the toughest shark infested waters. Saban might still win more championships, but it isn’t going to get easier at this point. But you are right, Saban is still a great coach and he will be a great coach when he retires. But once again it’s no guarantees he wins another one either. Every team usually catches there share of breaks to win it all. With the playoffs coming soon things are going to get even tougher. I am glad we got a young hungry head coach as we enter into 2023 and beyond! GBO!!!!!

Saban is going to decline as a coach. The way he managed the end of our game this past year proved that. The competition is getting a lot tougher for him. Alabama will be. a quality team but the days of them being head and shoulders better than everyone but maybe one team on their schedule are basically over.

Everything in life is cyclical. Bama will still be very good but the dynasty I think is over for them.

Georgia is what Bama was… tough pill to swallow for old Saban. Wish Tennessee could ever be that dominant. It’s been about 100 years. Lol
They don't win those titles without Stetson Bennett.

People can joke about him.
Call him "Doordash" or whatever, but dude played some of the best football at QB for UGA.

They have two 5 stars waiting to compete along with Beck, but I don't see any one of them playing like Bennett.

They may beat us again in 2023, but I don't see them winning the SEC next season

I mean we were for the majority of the time Neyland was coach.

And we can be that dominant again! Well maybe.

I for one believe UGA will not have a similar run as Bama because the SEC will not be as weak as it was for much of Sabans reign.

Bama still exists
We are now a perennial Contender.
Brian Kelly has LSU rolling already
Lane at Ole Peepee
Freeze at Auburn
And oh yeah...Oklahoma and Texas are in the SEC now.

I dont think anyone dominates in the future. It'll be more like, who is able to limp across the finish line first?
