'24 MO WR Ryan Wingo (Texas commit)

Has he already taken his official here or has he set one up with us yet? If we are on here talking this kid up so much and he hasn't even taken an official and hasn't made plans to make one yet, unless something drastically changes like Williams and Boo committing and pulling him, I don't think we are in this one...

He's taking his official here during the season. This one is very likely to go all the way into December. The coaches asked him to hold off until this fall for his OV.

pretty smart on our coaching staff-- the officials this summer will have faded off and we will be fresh closer to decision time--- also very encouraging that he is actually listening and agreeing with our staff to wait until fall for the official which makes it sound like we are a LEGIT contender here...

We also had him on campus around Memorial Day before his OVs started

Maybe Georgia leads. Maybe Notre Dame still has a real shot. Maybe Tennessee is creeping higher up Wingo’s list considering the Vols’ success throwing the ball and scoring points.

But one thing is for sure: Missouri is going to have its chance this weekend to sell coach Eli Drinkwitz’s offense and the emerging talent there to the five-star receiver from St. Louis University. The Tigers need to keep high-level talent like Wingo home, as Missouri missed on the top six in-state players in the 2023 class.

Who are these updates from (this and Nwaneri)? They seem to be a missouri homer and a closet uga fan.

They’re garbage. 247 is the standard, with On3 on the come up.

Random sidenote, y’all remember when Scout.com was still good?

They were bought out by 247. They were actually the best back then because they had the most scouts and they were regionally-dedicated. Chad Simmons, among others, came from there. 247 got much better when they bought out Scout.

247 wouldn’t admit it back then, but they knew Scout was better for the same reason they know ESPN sucks now…more scouts means better analysis.

Rivals had better content.

This. Thanks for the reminder.

Enter 247 and On3, exit scout and rivals.
