In terms of spreading disease, this act would be fine if it were contained to monogamous relationships.

Problem is, part of this disorder is the need for new partner after new partner after new partner. On and on and on.

You’ve got some dog in the hunt. Our government has spent billions (maybe a trillion, idk) to fight a virus that could quite literally be eradicated just by better behavior choices.

Now we will spend more billions on a new virus that affects only this one demographic, due to again, poor behavior choices.

I was speaking more about the morality of it. I am as unwilling to impose my morals on others as I am for another group to do so to me.

If you say it is a disease more easily spread by high risk sexual practices among homo and bisexual men then fine. It's a statement of fact, as we know them, at this point point. That isn't what the person I was responding to was saying.

Now the official position on this is laughable, it's group think, scared to offend so I'll ignore it and leave the part that needs to be said most unsaid because it will offend a group of hyper sensitive people and cause a sense of need for a larger group of virtue signalers to be offended as well.

So, now they are putting out transmission data and letting people decide for themselves because they don’t want to put the onus on individuals to stop the endemic monkey pox outbreak. Well, that’s a 180 for health depts from the past 2 years. Can’t stigmatize gay people but can and will stigmatize the unvaccinated. “Sigh”

Seriously? They're describing the San Francisco gay "bath houses" that were a major source of the spread of HIV/AIDS in the early 80's before HIV had been identified as the source of AIDS. From what I've seen so far, monkeypox appears to be not much more than a far less lethal version of AIDS. Do what you need to do to avoid HIV, and you'll avoid monkeypox.

This is the same dept said that blm riots would not spread covid but Trump rallies were super spreaders. They also say that it's safe and natural for 10ur old girls to get hysterectomy if they want to be a boy. Our fed agencies have become Sodom and Gomorrah
