Closed the season with a win, an sec win, and avoided the 4 win stigmata. With recruiting looking as promising as it does, I don't feel too bad tonight. It was a good day of football.

Just happy we did what we are always supposed to do....beat Kentucky. With Dooley it was obviously not a given. Can't wait to get the great recruiting class that Butch is reeling in and see what he can do. I, for one, am expecting big things in 2015....expect 2014 to be a building year. Sad.....but it is what it is.

Slow down. This is the SEC and we are losing quite a few players. Next year is huge in players getting expierence and a no quit attitude. If we are 2 games better I would love it.

We will probably have the same record next season, as we have this season. 5 -7

Wins: Utah State, Arkansas State, Chattanooga, Kentucky and Ole Miss.

Loses: Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Vandy & Missouri..

team did not give up on him is very telling. To go on the road and win even against Kentucky is big. It gives me a little hope and should help recruiting.

One in a row! Team played inspired ball yesterday and I was proud to watch them. They could have very easily went to UK and gone through the motions. Speaks volumes for coach and staff. Also shows why that even after bad losses UT was still pulling in recruits. CBJ is the right guy and I'll be shocked if we are not winning championships again sooner than later. 2015 and 2016 will be the telling years for CBJ's future in K-town!

Brick by Brick bUTch!

I tend to agree. If this team were still coached by a certain someone, they probably lie down last night.

Let's not forget, we have an entire Oline and Dline to replace. That may be tougher than replacing all those skill players that left last year.
Bottom line: when CBJ fills the roster with his recruits things will take off.

We are world betters now

Still haven't won an SEC game outside of Kentucky or Tennessee since I think 2007

May be wrong though

Vandy has been better than us going on 3 years now. They aren't an easy W anymore. At least until Franklin is gone.

Vandy had another good season, but they struggled down the stretch with KY, UT, and Wake. They lose a lot of seniors. Franklin better cash in and take a better job. Especially given his possible role in the cover-up scandal.

As far as KY goes, maybe not monumental, but it was the first SEC road win in 3 years. Along with beating a ranked opponent, I'd say that's a pretty solid step.
