We will probably have the same record next season, as we have this season. 5 -7

Wins: Utah State, Arkansas State, Chattanooga, Kentucky and Ole Miss.

Loses: Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Vandy & Missouri..

Utah State and Ole Miss are not gimmes.

Utah St should be getting Chuckie Keeton back next season and he is pretty solid.

Freeze has a head start on Jones in his turnaround at Ole Miss as well.

Apparently losing seasons are successful.

Well they have become the norm here at UT

It's a sign there are too many Vollyannas and coach worshipers around here when a win over KY gets labeled "monumental".

Good win last night as I expected the seniors to pack it in for their careers and wasn't going to be surprised with a loss but monumental?

C 'mon.

So, so sad. Beating KY in basketball = monumemtal. Beating KY in football = not monumental. Losing to KY in football = monumental.

I'm always happy with a win, but it's KENTUCKY. No matter how bad we are, I'll ALWAYS expect a win against Kentucky. ALWAYS

And so do I. But some members of this football team have been beat down for so long that they do not expect to always beat Kentucky. That's why most fans put a premium on this win, coach got their attention, they went on the road and won. Another positive step

I like what the commentators said about CBJ and his programs... his first year at Cinci he went 4 & 8 and the next year 10 & 3. That gives me hope that once signing day 2014 is over and he actually sees what he's got to work with, he'll go to work shaping and molding the squad brick by brick. GO VOLS!!!!!!

It's freakin' Kentucky,a team that only won once in 30 years. Nothing monumental about this win. Jones was in the Big East. You can't even compare his success there to the SEC. What a joke. He's gone after next year.

I think there are gonna be a lot of happy campers come this time next year! And were gonna be ready to go bowling! Go Vols! 😀

Is this seriously what we've come to? People are excited over a win against Kentucky?!?!?!

My dear friend...where in this world have you been for the last 5 years....YES...THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE BECOME....now we are trying to work our way out of that nasty brown wet bag we find ourselves in....Doesnt mean we will stay there....just means thats where we are right now....I did however appreciate the announcers duly explaining just how devastating to the program it was when CLK let the way he did....YOU SPIRAL DOWN AFTER THAT ONLY TO WORK YOUR WAY UP...and it takes awhile...JUST ASK ALABAMA....

We are world betters now

Still haven't won an SEC game outside of Kentucky or Tennessee since I think 2007

May be wrong though

Mississippi state 2007 last time we won an actual sec road game not named kentucky or vandy wow thats been 6 long seasons ago

This was a good win but I don't think that "monumental" is the correct word to describe it.

Brighter days are ahead.

Well at least Butch did not show his A$$ by trying to get another TD like Franklin did in 27 seconds even though the game was already decided

"Nice" win over Kentucky might be more a appropriate description than "monumental."

glad people are talking down this win. This is a team that got beat my WKU and only salvaged two wins all year. Whoever said it's a good non loss is right. There was no reason to expect a loss tonight and quite frankly we still didn't look SEC average tonight. We looked MAC average.

Same kind of MAC average that began the season against WKY and S ALA.
