I did not say that it should be posted on CNN. I said he had never met the required cerification to run for POTUS. Again if he has nothing to hide, he should have turn it over to begin with. The thing that angers me is that none of the checks and balances forced the issue.

The American public shopuld not be forced to file private law suits to have election law enforced.

Not what I said at all. I realize trying to defend the indefensible has frayed the intellect of the right, but that is really weak. I simply mocked the idea that President Slingblade has been some national security master. He doesn't deserve all the blame for 9/11 and the fact no other attacks happened doesn't do that much to elevate his status. How much credit do all the presidents who had no successful terrorist attacks on their watch get?

So he did not offer to show it, so in essence he sealed it. Or are you saying it is illegal for him to get a copy of his own birth certificate? That is a weird law there dude.

If this is such a high priority in Hawaii, it sure seems funny to me that this move to seal his birth record did not happen until there was some heat turned onto the issue.

You mean baseless suits that have turned up absolutely nothing, because, in fact, Obama produced the birth certificate in June? Hell, it was a website that he gave it to then. If the federal government doesn't have a copy of it on file then this country really is in trouble. The guy was a Senator.

Did I say those two were without fault? No. However, that doesn't change the fact that Bush put a wholly incompetent crony in charge of the agency with the responsibility of administering disaster relief.

As I stated earlier in the thread, the reports are that the copy that was presented is NOT the official copy. The version presented does not state the place of birth. The suits are not baseless until the issue has been resolved.

And no the public should not be responsible for pursuing this. The Supreme court should assure that all eligibility requirements are met before the election.

I would assume, and maybe I am just crazy, that he had to produce his birth certificate when he went on the payroll. Hell, I have had to produce my birth certificate for a job that paid 12.50 an hour.

Please read the post you quoted. The version that was presented did not address the point of concern with Obama's elegibilty, namely if he was born overseas he would not be elegible for the office of POTUS. This issue has not been resolved. Kenyans claim he was born there. Isn't something that the woman who knows for sure passed away as this topic became heated.
