more class from the libs.

Please read the post you quoted. The version that was presented did not address the point of concern with Obama's elegibilty, namely if he was born overseas he would not be elegible for the office of POTUS. This issue has not been resolved. Kenyans claim he was born there. Isn't something that the woman who knows for sure passed away as this topic became heated.

Do you seriously believe that the federal government does not have a copy of a former U.S. Senators birth certificate?

Do you seriously believe that the federal government does not have a copy of a former U.S. Senators birth certificate?

Why would they care about this particaular item? As long as he is a citizen he can be a senator.

Am I the only one who thinks that the POTUS should meet whatever requirements are on record?

If Obama was only 32 years old would that be ok? Why not just throw out the rules and let the folks who are here on work visas run for the presidency.

I am not arguing this anymore, you have slipped into absurdity.

Lets see.........Obama has been accused ... of being anti-Israel, ... been accused of being a Marxist, been accused of being anti-semite. All of these accusations were, of course, without any evidence or substantive proof. Just uninformed and uneducated innuendo from right wing reactonaries like yourself
You should read Dreams From My Father. These allegations are very easily founded by BHO himself. Of course, I am probably uninformed and uneducated, and I also presume you would not feel that a first hand account from BHO would count as evidence or substantive proof.

Thus proving you are not a wing nut who fears black helicopters.
While I have no fear of them. Those black helicopters do exist.

About 8 years ago I was in Chattanooga airspace. My right seater (instructor) was a ranking police officer who is a graduate of the FBI Academy.

ATC informed us there was an unidentified aircraft in close proximity to ours, that was refusing to acknowledge their calls . Our heads immediately went into swivel mode.

We were looking everywhere, when is shot directly under our aircraft about 150 feet below us. That's a c*** hair in an airplane.

My partner grabbed the mic and said, "Chattanooga, we have visual on the aircraft. It's a black helicopter with no visible markings." ATC acknowledged our transmission, and never said another word.

Fine, prove it. The linking or copying and pasting of that ridiculous Atlas Shrugged blog doesn't count either.

First of all, Barack Hussein Obama's name are all of arabic origin, if he were of native African linage then his name would reflect that.

Kenneth Lamb provides the best research on this topic that I have found.

Here are the facts.

Mr. Obama is 50% Caucasian, that from his mother. What those who want Mr. Obama to write history by becoming "America's first African-American president" ignore is that his father was ethnically Arabic, with only 1 relative ethnically African Negro - a maternal great-grandparent (Sen. Obama's great-great grandparent, thus the 6.25% ethnic contribution to the senator's ethnic composition.).

That means that Mr. Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side. He is 43.75% Arabic, and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side.

The question no one wants to answer - particularly Mr. Obama and his supporters, is, "Why do you think he has an Arabic name? Why does his father have an Arabic name? Why does every ancestor on his father's side have an Arabic name?"

The answer is obvious: They have Arabic names because his father's side of the family tree is Arabic.

Need proof? Research the Kenyan records for yourself. You will find that his father was officially classified as "Arab African" by the Kenyan government.

But in America's current political climate, that truth is heresy; that truth is "an inconvenient truth." It is the political equivalent in our time to what Galileo's scientific pronouncements were in his time: it is true, but nobody wants to know the truth because the lie is so much more comforting.

That is why detractors of this truth will do everything to denounce it, except submit to the discipline of actually researching it.

If stated in its absolute truth, Mr. Obama was the second person of color to run the (Harvard) Review. He was beat to the Review's top spot by a true African-American about 60 years before Mr. Obama showed up for classes.

Again, a very inconvenient truth.

That is devastating in itself. The further effect is that Mr. Obama would have to convince Americans still reeling from 9/11, Afghanistan, and Iraq, that now is the time for America's first Arab-American president.

We all know what chance that has of succeeding.

Mr. Obama would have to say to the world: "I am not what I've told you I am. I lied to you in my autobiography when I told you I am black. I lied to the Admission Committee at Harvard so I could get in. I lied to my constituents in Chicago so I could get elected to the State Senate. I lied to my constituents in Illinois so I could get elected to the US Senate. I lied to my supporters across America so I could be President.

"I have lied all during my life to play the race card, and use it, cynically, to advance myself by playing upon the racist presumption of Americans to accept, without question, that anyone of color is African-American. I lied to you, and you blindly accepted it, because of your own racist presumptions about color, and ethnic identity. I looked African-American, and your racist presumptions told you to believe it."

Even as you read this, the overwhelming majority of you will continue to believe it. Even as you know the truth, you will block the truth out of your mind, because you are bred to accept the racist presumption of color, and ethnic identity.

And so many of you reading this will create incredible mental gymnastics, telling yourself why the truth doesn't matter. You will lie to yourself because you want to believe the lie, and then curse the American body politic for being built on lies.

You will do this all while failing to tell yourself the truth that it is your lies, as much as any other lies, that are killing the body. You will commit the very action that you curse as the cause of America's demise, because you are jaded beyond recognizing in yourself the very same disease you so freely condemn in others.

Here is the truth about Mr. Obama's name, and his father's ancestors:

True Negro tribal members of western Kenya where his father was born have Christian names, not Arabic. His father's decision to name him with an Arabic name is a matter of his father establishing his ethnic identity in Africa - it is done deliberately to separate him from the African tribes. He may live among them, but he is not one of them. His father's message is that he is Arabic, not Negro.

Researching his roots reveal that on his father's side, he is descended from Arab slave traders. They operated under an extended grant from Queen Victoria, who gave them the right to continue the slave trade in exchange for helping the British defeat the Madhi Army in southern Sudan and the Upper Nile region.

But telling America's black community that while their ancestors were breaking the shackles of slavery, Mr. Obama's ancestors were placing those shackles upon their wrists would hardly play as an Oprah Winfrey best-seller.

Being the son of a poor Kenyan goat-herder plays much better than being the son of a highly placed Arab-African who operated at the top of the Kenyan government following his education at Columbia. You see, even the way he portrays his father is a lie.

What amazes me more than anything else about Mr. Obama's heritage is the unwillingness of anyone in the journalism profession to want to know the truth.

I wrote this tonight because I'm tired of reading about "integrity" written by those who have none themselves.

Why am I writing this? Maybe I just want a clear conscience, clear that the research I did didn’t get buried because the people who received it are afraid to tell the truth in the face of Sen. Obama’s frenzied celebrity status.

I’ve been in the business since 1972 - 35 years - writing and researching for people like the NY Times, the Miami Herald, the St. Petersburg Times, The Jewish Information Network, so I know what it’s like on the newsroom floor right now.

Nobody can dare speak against Sen. Obama without generating at least a flickering flame of doubt about his or her own sanity – not to mention the knee-jerk reaction that questioning him is indicative of some deep, dark, racist agenda spurring those questions on.

And maybe I’m tired of us lying to ourselves. Mr. Obama is what we’ve lied ourselves into believing he is.

Did you know that Obama's father was with the central bank of Kenya??? Lamb doesn't mention that as far as I have read but Obama's father wasn't some poor mud hut dweller, goat herder, he was on a plane with the top intelligensia of Kenya, on a plane with the Rockefellers, Morgans and Rothschilds of the world.

You should read the whole article.

What say you to that emainvol????

And let me go on to say this, I am not advancing this
(and other) truth(s) because of racist or partisan politics motives but because I hate to see people deceived, especially African-Americans who no one can deny have had a rough row to hoe in the history of our still young nation.

I have quite a bit more to say if you want to keep this discussion on an intelligent, polite plane.

I will have to research it for myself, but he is a descendant of African man. While the man might well have been of Arab descent, he would still be an African as well. All that said, I would still love to see you defend your other points.

Ditto the black helicopters are for real.

About ten or fifteen years ago I noticed one
following me in my rear view, I put the hammer
down, pedal to the metal, I was in open farming
country and when I entered an area that was
well covered with overhanging trees I slowed,
drove off the road and pulled up underneath a
particularly thick leafed tree and cooled my
heels for about twenty minutes.

After that I went on to where I was going to
visit a friend who always has some interesting
stories to tell, that day he told me about a
recent visit he had had from Mr Walton (sp?) of
Walmart fame. He remarked what a down to
Earth guy he was, Walton had arrived in an old
used pick up and wore well worn overalls and
they had spent the day out looking at cattle
herds in the area.

As we were out standing by the fence of a
pasture observing this guys small herd of beef
cattle the black helicopter circled in front of
us, as if to be very obvious, the chopper looked
to be like one of the early Bell bubble models,
there were two people inside, dressed in black,
with black helmets and dark visors and there
were absolutely no markings on the aircraft.

My friend asked of me; "who are those guys?"
and I said I had no idea and I asked if it were
the first time he had seen them and he said;
"no."

On another forum a few years ago when this
topic came up a guy who had built up quite a
bit of credibility over the years said; "the US
doesn't have black helicopters", so I then asked;
"to what country do the black helicopters belong?"
but he never did reply.

Whoa, your posts are just tooooooooooo long for me to read.

If you are attention span challenged then
I suggest you stick to reading comic strips,
see you in the funny papers.

Barak's grandfather was a Luo catholic that converted to Islam. He took the name Hussein. He then passed the name down to Barak Hussein Obama Sr. Obama Sr. was raised in Muslim family, but was not one himself. He passed his name down to his son, Barak Hussein Obama Jr. Barak, today, is as much an Arab as most of us are Irish people. Sure we have some people that we never knew in our past related to us, but the only thing linking us to them is our namesake and the tone of our skin. Barak can't help his skin color and being brought up labeled as African-American. Barak has led more of a "rich white man" life then most of us on the forum ever will. Just drop the stupid arab crap like it's something terrible.

GSVol. Your last 2 post have been your best....more pictures please. I must admit. Most of your post put me to sleep. Maybe you could market them as a sedative.....

my question is, if black conservative/republican was elected president, would he have had the love of the media for being the 1st black president i would say no,

I think you already know the answer to that.:)

I thought Alan Keyes would have made a fine President.

This is utter crap. You can't honestly sit there and tell me if Colin Powell were elected president he wouldn't have enjoyed widespread support and equal acknowledgement of his historic election from the press.

I believe he would have received support from the black community, just not to the extent that Obama has because politically he is not one of their own. Same holds true for the media in that respect. I just don't see there being the same amount of "gushing" so to speak.

Keyes wouldnt have a chance. Black people wouldnt vote for someone like him. Young people also wouldnt have been energized for him. Keyes is a joke and no black person respects him or his policies.

That is a great mass generalization.

That is a great mass generalization.

It is but I would say 90% cant stand Keyes if they actually know who he is. Everyone I know and have seen talk about him hate him. Do you think he would get black support if he ran for pres.? What percentage of the black vote do you think Keyes could pull in?

Please explain to us why black people would not have supported him.

To say no black person respects him or his policies is a huge stretch. Borderline ignorant statement.

This could not have anything to do with the phenomena that is persons hanging out with like minded persons, could it?

The problem is that young people are the most easily deceived. Many are naive due to the lack of real world experience.
