It will just move on to something else. I have seriously pondered what the next Malthusian-type panic will be.

What's great about the climate thing for those proponents is this: even though they scream and holler about needing to do more, more, more, when the actual climate change comes in well under their predictions (it already does, btw) they can claim the planet is saved through their efforts. Pretty neat gig.

The dang picture montage they show is 5 nuclear reactor cooling towers emitting freaking steam (the horror) with a few smokestacks that are not emitting anything, and a mine site that will decimate the environment and be required to get the minerals to make batteries. What a bunch of clowns.
