More out of GA that could be a big help to recruiting.

Evidently Pruitt and Shott got into a physical altercation. There are big shakeups coming at GA. Loosing coaches at our biggest rival for recruiting can only help

Isn't it nice to be the team that's stable for the first time in years?

Things change fast. 3 weeks ago we had a coach punch a player and 2 coaches get in an altercation. Let's hope things stay in our favor.

Fran Tarkenton basically said that they entire coaching staff is a mess and is involved in some pretty unsavory things. He went off on the radio in Atlanta yesterday.

Deviner, he was shuffling players to Bama.Pruitt is at Ga now he's sending them there.

Chris Low confirmed there are significant staff issues at Georgia on Swain's show. Said that Pruitt v Richt is a significant issue, said Pruitt is tightly wound and causing problems. Said there's zero chance that Richt comes back next year without making changes to his staff and put Richt's chance of returning at all at 50-50.

I don't think Miami is the greatest choice for him since he has some trouble recruiting Atlanta. I'd go straight to South Carolina, if they offered. South Carolina has been at their best when they implement a power running game and good defense.

we always say that a big shakeup will help us...then Florida goes and hires a Mcelwain. The UGA job is a top 10 job. They will land a big fish. Which kids will gravitate towards.
id rather choir boy stay in Athens as long as she can.

Richt doesn't have to leave for big shakeups. Most of the kids have relationships with assistant coaches not the head coach. If the guy who has been your lead recruiter and your position coach leave you just might pick somewhere your more familiar with.

Agreed, as much turmoil as they have right now, they're worse off with Richt than someone who might breathe some fresh air into their program. Hope they win out and Schotty falls on the sword for their offense scoring less than 40 for the month of October and Richt survives.
Last 4 games anyway they averaged less than 10 pts generated by the offense. Forgot there were 5 weeks in October.

The narrative has shifted on Atlanta radio today. It has gone from getting rid of Richt to keeping him and firing Pruitt and Schottenheimer along with the OL coach. The article from Dawgnation yesterday has put the heat in those two. The thing that is interesting is that Chip Towers wrote it. He is pretty much an extension of the AD writing about UGA. I think he was fed that info to take pressure off of Richt and start the fire the coordinators conversation.

What coach punched a player? Obviously you are a troll. Never happened with CBJ if that is who you are talking about

The whole mess could turn into Pruitt trying to undermine Richt to make himself look better - just like Majors accused Fulmer of doing in 1992.

Pruitt will get his shot somewhere as a HC, but he is emotionally unstable AND has always kept ties to handlers. More like a Muschump, except he will get you on probation

Ditto, if they pulled a popular up and comer like Fuente (please let USCw get him) then that would be very bad for us in terms of recruiting GA as well as winning against them.

To me the 16 season is big. That stretch of 4 games will determine our whole season. Getting Florida at home and Georgia having an all new scheme and freshman QB is huge because if we get to 5-0 with the lead in the east it takes a ton of pressure off. Then we can lose one of the next two and still be in 1st place.
