More out of GA that could be a big help to recruiting.

This bit is intriguing considering how Pruitt is considered their recruiting golden boy, " He made it clear he is no fan of defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt.

Tarkenton said Pruitt won’t be a head coach at Georgia or anywhere else ever.

“I think he has come over and been very boisterous, been very loud,” Tarkenton said. “I think he’s taken advantage of things over there. He personally has hired four of the assistant coaches over there including the weight guy. I’m not a great fan of Jeremy Pruitt. That has not been a good, workable solution.”

Richt has had a warm seat for years. This year, it is pretty hot.

Go ahead... fire both the OC and the DC, and let me know what magical mystery man is going to walk into that job security, knowing that he could be out of a job in 9 months.

MR was Fulmer in training. Ga gets the right coach then its game on. There is too much talent in Ga. Ga has always been a coach away from being dominant. Nobody wants to see MR get fired because they are afraid of them getting a real coach.

People on here always say he's Fulmer of GA. I don't get that. Fulmer won a natty. I'd take Fulmers reign here over Richts at UGA 10/10

There's been a lot of talk about infighting in the UGA staff due to Pruitt's and Schotty's attitudes, and Richt's general loss of control, but I have an alternative theory for the problems in Georgia's football complex...

They're claustrophobic.

Fulmer's high points were definitely higher than Richt's. However, Fulmer's low points are definitely lower than Richt's as well. I don't envy the decision UGA has to make, but it's been 10 years since a conference title and at a program like UGA that is the measure of success. CEOs get canned all the time for not meeting expectations. Richt will be treated no different.

This would be the best outcome for Tennessee. New coordinators with new schemes coming in 2 1/2 months before national signing day?! Dream come true. Come to TN, we are about to finish 9-4 and then win the SEC next season, don't you want to be a part of that?

Anybody can recognize Florida was a fluke. If we hit that field goal or stop them on 4 and 14, we are 6-2 right now, at least. And we are the team everyone is talking about. Floridas defense is great, offense, not so much. They won't continue this run next year

Speaking of CEOs, Jones and Dobbs both refer to themselves as the CEO. I feel like Dobbs is more of a regional manager than a true executive.

Rumors on all the UGA boards that Pruitt is out after the UK game. This will supposedly save Richt. Schottenheimer may be safe as they owe him $2 million if they fire him.

Richt is a buffoon if he couldn't tell Pruitt was gunning for his job. Pruitt has taken every shortcut he can when it comes to recruiting and integrity; anyone that finds it shocking that he was trying his best to expedite Richt's departure is an idiot.

I said this staff would blow up soon and UGA trolls laughed at me. I however never saw Richt winning the power struggle nor Shottenheimer being retained; that is beyond anything I could have ever hoped for. I hope to hell that happens because UGA would be an absolute dumpster fire next season. Pruitt is a divisive, piece of trash but he is probably their best coach right now. I absolutely thought UGA AD would back Pruitt this year and Richt would be out; that twist surprised me.

So weird if Schott gets to stick around.

I will say this. As a Vols fan, don't get too overjoyed about Pruitt getting fired if it indeed happens. The reason why: Frank Beamer just retired. That's bad for us, because it might mean that the best Defensive Coordinator in the entire nation (Bud Foster) is back on the market, if he doesn't get promoted to HC at Va Tech. Mark Richt came very close to landing Foster in 2009, but VT came in at the last minute with a big pay-raise for Foster. If VT brings in a new coach that doesn't retain Foster, and UGA keeps Mark Richt in place, there's an extremely strong chance that Richt is going after Foster again.

I suppose the good news is that if UGA keeps Schottenheimer, than maybe UGA could just become VT South: all defense, no offense.

Entirely possible BUT would Foster want to jump to there when UGA is kind of looking like a dumpster fire right now? I would imagine VT will do everything in their power to hold onto Foster until he gets a HC gig somewhere.

People don't want Richt fired in part because they think its going to affect our recruiting in Georgia but living here my entire life, I don't think much will change no matter who the HC is at UGA. So many teams are represented in the Atlanta area and there is no allegiance to the home state school so unless if you start becoming a dynasty and winning or competing for National Championships every year UT, Aub, Alabama, SC, FL, FSU, Clemson are all going to pull talent out of the area.

Now outside the Atlanta area is a little different and thats when you run into people who embarrass the state and they are the ones that bark like a pup at you...

680 in Atlanta reporting Pruitt could already be out. And that there may have been physical altercations. Yikes.

Wow.

Listening to 680 right now. The broadcasters seem to pretty much believe it's a done-deal that Jeremy Pruitt is fired.
