Tatum is not a Div.-I talent player. He is over his head but CCM loves him for some reason.
Wow cam did play a lot. Recently Jordan had kind of closed the gap on minutes, surprised to see he got that many.
Personally I'd like to see tatum keep starting since McRae plays better off the bench, but McRae get the 30 minutes and tatum the 20-25.
McRae has picked up the d and is actually capable of scoring. I think he deserves that.
Reminds me of a guy on our old high school baseball team. Name was Branch. At the end of tryouts that spring the head coach comes up to him. Says'" Branch, you out hustle, everyone, you out spit everyone, you out talk everyone, you have more enthusiasm than anyone, but you are the worst damn baseball player I've ever seen. Except old Branch didn't make the team.:whistling:Tatum is not a Div.-I talent player. He is over his head but CCM loves him for some reason.
A really good friend of mine was a GA for the team while pearl was here. He was told by the players a coaches that when Cam got here as a freshman he was the most talented player on the team. Do that includes Tyler smith, jujaun, Chris, Wayne, ect. Then he got hurt and never got back to the level he was at during preseason that year. Now he has bad knees and ankles that prevent him from being explosive like he used to be. I still love the effort the guy gives whether it shows up in stats or not. And why you would call him out for one misplayed back door cut is beyond me
Outside of the lack of passion and focus to win against an inferior opponent; I wish folks would just be happy if they get to a winning season. It is a flawed team that is getting better, but cannot afford to lose anybody on the team or to have an off night shooting the 3. We will start seeing more improvement next season and thereafter. Coach Zo is the right guy for the job.

That couldn't be further from the truth. Before all of his physical (and off the court) troubles he was on his way to becoming first team all-SEC. He's hit a ton of big shots in his career. So the guy is having a bad year? No reason to dog him and say he isn't a D-1 talent. The kid has given 5 years of his life to UT and has been a very solid contributer every year up until the last half of this year.
edit: one more thing.. I also have terrible knees (3 surgeries) and if he's having as much trouble with his as people are speculating, it's not surprise he's had a down year. nearly impossible to play any sport, let alone basketball, at a high level with bum knees and ankles. the fact he still goes out and practices/plays even though he's taped up every game says something about his commitment to the university.
