When someone can't even admit to a simple fact that Palin and Bachmann have been extremely popular leaders of the Tea Party for a while now, we aren't going to get anywhere.

when someone's too dense to understand there aren't any leaders in the true tea party movement then the conversation goes nowhere. Ignorant libs like you and LG really, really want to attach a leader since it's hard to attack a movement if there's not one. Nothing can prevent people from claiming it but that doesn't make it true. Anyone attaching a social slant to the TP is not in line with the original idea.

Can you understand that simple concept?

I agree with everything you said. I don't see why Muschamp is so dead set on identifying a leader of the Tea Party movement unless it is in order to smear them.

What support are you even talking about? Is there some Tea Party poll somewhere? What members voted? Where? Where are the card carrying members that are approved Tea Party people? Where is all this info you are referencing. Please cite links and stop making stuff up.

So you are saying if a politician goes to a Tea Party rally he is automatically deemed the leader?
