Most hated SEC Rival!

OP said most hated RIVAL. Vandy shouldn't be in the top 10. 2 wins in 30 years is not a rivalry.

I know but they embarrassed us last year and then decided to rub it in and gloat about it all off season. Little sister won't get away with that. After we destroy them this year, I'll go back to not giving a dam*

Tennessee fans when they lose: "we suck" "bad coaches" "other team is that good" "our team didn't show up" "no game changing playmakers"

Auburn fans: same

Bama fans: "we played bad" "we played bad" "fluke" "fluke" "sanctions" "sanctions".

I hate how Bama fans NEVER admit that they lost to the better team or that the better team THAT DAY was better. LSU game was a fluke (but Lincoln's injury wasn't) A&M game was a fluke... gets annoying.

Trust me, if any of you lived around Atlanta, you would say Georgia is your most hated team.......the Dawg fans here makes it almost mandatory.

To me, the questions of who is the biggest rival and who do you dislike the most evoke fundamentally different answers. As someone who has followed the Big Orange for 46 years, Alabama has always been the biggest rival. I regard Tennessee-Alabama as, historically, the preeminent rivalry in Southern football. Despite that ugly eleven-game losing streak to the Bear, he had a way of badmouthing his own team and building up his opponent that you couldn't help but respect his program. Both Bryant and Neyland always considered the Third Saturday in October as the true measuring stick of their respective programs. Perhaps in the minds of Alabama fans, that respect has changed to a more deeply rooted hatred as a result of the probation that so many blame on Fulmer. If so, they need to remember that, without their repeated tendency to seriously violate NCAA rules, there would be no probation.

Florida, on the other hand, is the team that I truly despise. Spurrier, with his incessantly condescending comments, established a mindset that resonates to this day among their fans. I have no problem with their onfield success but, as old-school coaches used to say, "Act like you've been there before! Win with grace and lose with dignity."

As an old-guard program, Alabama takes winning in stride. Admittedly, I am not addressing the collective attitude exhibited by the multitude of bandwagon fans who currently support their program. Florida, on the other hand, exudes an arrogance and lack of respect that I truly despise.

Best post of the day.

Guys, and Gal on the board. What's your most hated SEC Rival?

Personally I dislike UGA but, one of the first things my parents taught me was how to hate Alabama. They taught me how to hate that awful houndstooth design and that horrendous Crimson color; all things Bama

I think some of you younger guys will likely say you hate Florida more. But, for some of us, Bama is the oldest and biggest rival. I hope we beat the snot outta them.

Your name says it all. They have history of being mediocre and fans with their heads in the butts thinking they have won all these gazillion titles. Every year it is "their year" and I get sort of sick of it. They make more excuses due to refs, injuries, Richt, Bobo and the dang weather than they probably change underwear. They are worse than Floridiots and their jean shorts, LSWho and Bama cause they have nothing to even base 99.999999999 percent of their claims of whatever on.

Sorry for the rant and my .02 became .16 cents.

I hate the color crimson, houndstooth, and the cursive letter A. I hate the phrase Roll Tide and the various pronunciations their jort wearing redneck fans say it. I hate elephants when I visit the zoo but get a laugh from their elephant sized, jersey wearing, dip spitting women. I'm amazed but not surprised that someone like Harvey Updyke can ruin another school's tradition because they beat his beloved tide. I hate Paul Finebaum and his sorry radio show for giving him a forum to brag about the incident. Most of all, I HATE BAMA and always will.

The same team I always put in all the threads with this same title. It is, always has been and always will be Bammer.

Georgia fans are the most obnoxious fans alive when winning that is. They start losing and they go hide in a corner. Kind of like this week. Lol
