I'm weird, but I can't stand Candy right now. I think they are at the top of my list, but won't be for long. Next would be Florida and then the Turd probably.

Bama...ALWAYS.......people who say Florida are people who only know the teams of their lifetime. Our school has history, more fans need to steep in it. Florida was nothing before Spurrier, they are not old school SEC football, and honestly I think they are still on the way back down. Tenn-Bama is multi generation grudge match....it is Legend..

I live in Alabama, so I have to say the Gumps are least-tolerable.

I hate Auburn too. Their fans are just as obnoxious as Bammers but with considerably less to brag about.

Why is this even debated?

Alabama and then all others. UF and GA have never been traditional yearly rivals until fairly recent. You could arque that Vandy is behind Alabama as we have played them for so long as well.

I've heard people say that because they have beaten so many times in a row that it is no onger a rivalry.......BS! I remember when we beat Bama I believe it was 9 times in a row. Hated them every bit as much on the 9th win as I did the 1st. My hatred grew to a new level when they broke the streak.

As should be with any rivalry as old and deep rooted as ours....I respect the hell out of them for what they have accomplished and hope like hell we break their arms off and shove em up their backsides next time we meet.

Bama. Hating them is in your blood if you're a true Vol fan. UF was a damn joke until Spurrier got there and looks to be headed back in that direction now.

Going in to this year Bama then FL but after this year something inside me hates everything about every other school!!!!! F them all!!!! I can't look at ne school in the east for sure and Bama out of the West that I can be like ahh that's OK about them none of the coaches players or ne thing! GO VOLS!!!

I will ALWAYS hate Alabama. Always. UF and UGA are minor disturbances in the Force...Bama is the unadulterated DARK SIDE! (nerd alert!). I will never pull for Alabama as long as I live. If aliens invade and the University of Alabama is humanities only hope I will pull for the aliens. I hate Alabama. It's in my Orange blood...

Alabama. There's a special kind of hate and loathing for that team. I have hated them for a very long time and will continue to do so. The deepest levels of Hell are reserved for betrayers, mutineers and bammers.

well everyone has mentioned the obvious, florida and bama, but i'm gonna say i really despise vandy now with that douche james franklin. I'm really looking forward to playing them in neyland this year

Personally I dislike UGA but, one of the first things my parents taught me was how to hate Alabama. They taught me how to hate that awful houndstooth design and that horrendous Crimson color; all things Bama

I think some of you younger guys will likely say you hate Florida more. But, for some of us, Bama is the oldest and biggest rival. I hope we beat the snot outta them.

I never got to experience the truly " Bama Rivalry". I first started watching UT football in 2001 or 2002. I didn't really know the hatred between the two teams. I have heard many stories about it though. I just got off of a Bama forum, and those guys absolutely HATE us. I mean, you should see the crap they post over there. I think the site is Tidefans.com? Hope we can pull out a win on Saturday!

There were a couple of years when Spurrier was at Florida where it was close, but gotta go with Bama. Once we are done beating Vandy back into irrelevance on 10/23, we can end that discussion once and for all.

Ive visited their site before. They all refer to us as "Viles". We hate them, they hate us.

I always love these threads. It's interesting to see who all claims to hate Alabama/Florida/whoever else,yet will turn around and pull for those teams in OOC/Bowl games. If I hate a team I don't want them to win ever, and that includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Vanderbilt.
