So Washington has Bama syndrome? Well I wouldn't call it Bama syndrome so much now but before Saban got there it was pretty bad

i dont know this area of va, extreme southwestern tip, use to be nothing bout orange and white and little kentucky blue mixed in here and there, but its infested with damn hookie fans, that jumped off our bandwaggon about 2000-01 and went on that one and they think they are the shitznit because they played in a NC game few years back. but they are easy to shut them up when you ask how many nat championships they have won or what there reccord against UT is.

They are not nationally known, but Washington fans are that bad. "We were one of the best teams in the country" (back in the 80s with a team full of thugs), "so the Dawgs are still a good/great team now."

Yeah that may be so but ask any Bama fan in the Southeast and they will tell you how technically they could lay claim to like 23 NC's

Those are the only ones I've had real problems with. Bama is tolerable and Georgia is just delusional. LSU and Florida fans are just awful and POS.

georgia should at least get an honorable mention on that list. also, lsu fans aren't as obnoxious as they are drunk and stupid, but i guess that goes hand in hand.

I had some pretty bad experiences with LSU fans at the SEC Championship in 2001. These were men were too old to be in college, too. They were the worst fans I've ever met.

i've had pleasant experiences with LSU. As far as the SEC goes, I've always found UGA the worst, UF first and us third. Bama fans are typically dumber than a box of rocks, but I meet so many of our fans that just make me shudder in embarrassment.

However, Notre Dame, tOSU and Michigan all get ranked ahead of any SEC teams. I'd say Texas does too.

Second bolded phrase: Mostly correct... some are sober and stupid.

I have lived in four SEC states (Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Louisiana) and let me tell you that LSU fans are the worst.

i'm sure there are some pretty bad fans in lsu's fanbase. i'm not sure how there couldn't be seeing how rowdy they're known for being. the only experience i've ever had with them was at neyland stadium in 2001. prior to going to the game, a group of their fans got on our bus that was headed to the stadium and they had a huge cooler with them that was apparantly filled to the brim with alcohol, some of which they were probably going to try and take into the stadium with them. most of them were pretty trashed and kickoff was still 2 hours away...i found it more funny that anything.......

I agree with the post about WVU. That's the worst place I've ever seen a game. I would have to argue about VT, though. Ohio has played there twice in the past 5 years and we thought the fans were great. As an Ohio fan I'm neither a fan of Ohio State or Michigan, but would have to saythat Michigan folks are far worse. Even outside of football - they think they are so much better than everyone. If you've spent anytime around Michigan people you would understand. OSU fans are obnoxious, but at least they're not snobs about it. I would consider adding Penn State to that list, as well.

I was raised in the Midwest and live on the east coast now, so I don't have a lot of interaction with SEC fans. I have a friend who lives in Georgia who can't stand UGA fans. I guess I'll find out in a couple of months about Tennessee fans!
