Is Dave Hart a midget? I thought he played basketball at Alabama

This thread is hilarious and depressing. Literally for close to a year now I thought that the Dooley w crutches and a chair pictures were apart of an elaborate Photoshop hoax. See last year I only caught 2 Tennessee games so I was ignorant to the fact that our former sideline poet actually fractured his hip. Good lord, the image of Nick Saban giving a consoling pat to Derek Dooley as he gimps away defeated, wow that really is really the stuff of a bad dream for a Vol fan. I am still in disbelief that this actually happened.

This thread has ruined me. edit: well, my night. Goodnight. Thanks for the nightmares.

I saw him in a picture with Michael palardy who is about 5-10 and hart came up to his shoulder. He kinda looks like an elf.

Great offensive recruiter and coach - took him 3 years to put together one of best and most fun to watch offenses in the country. I don't collect autographs but if I did I would not mind having one from him.

With the exception of CP, weren't most the offensive playmakers Kiffin/Fulmer leftovers? IIRC, Dooley at best retained the class Kiffin had already put together before he left in the night. The offense we see on the field in 2013 was near completely constructed by Dooley & Co., though it was constructed for a different scheme than we're currently running.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Memory's foggy this morning.

Wow. So there's actually 2 Dooley-lovin' holdovers.

Also took him 3 years to put together the first back to back to back losing seasons in the school's 100+ year history...... if you want his autograph for absolutely running UTs program into the ground and setting it back to historic proportions then more power to ya.
