I think some people don’t get the SS is meant to be outrageous and dark humor. DC is not Marvel, they are goofy and have more comic style villains. It’s closer to The Boys then marvel. Whatever, it doesn’t change my opinion. I hated end game so to each his own

I didn't like Infinity War or End Game. At all.

Free Guy 8/10- Enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. Easter eggs everywhere for gamers. Just an easy to watch, fun movie that got plenty of laughs out of me.
Gunpowder Milkshake 6/10- Worth a watch when bored. Knockoff Kingsman with girl power.
Suicide Squad 5.5/10- Much better than the first one. Got a few good laughs out of me, just a very mediocre movie though IMO. I realize I'm probably in the minority.
42 8.5/10- Not sure how I never saw this when it came out. Great movie. RIP Chadwick.

2 movies we recently watched and enjoyed;
The Exception 7.5/10. WW2 spy / love / thriller. The Dig 8/10 1950’s archeology of a mound in England.

Seems like Hollywood is struggling to pass the paton to younger male action heroes. Liam Nesen is going to have a heart attack next time they ask him to show his “very specific type of skills”. Keanu Reeves looks old and awkward as John Wick not to mention the obvious in Stalone and Swartsneger. Even James Bond and Jack Reacher are getting long in the tooth.

Also the "younger" males that are trying to take up the genre are guys like The Rock (49), Jason Statham (54), Idris Elba (almost 49) and John Cena (44) who all aren't old but they aren't exactly young either. There are guys like Tom Holland who seem to be trying to sorta get in that line with Spider-Man and the upcoming Uncharted but to me he has a short shelf life with this stuff. No offense to him but I kind of see him taking a Mark Hamill route where he's big while he's SM but he'll likely go off into stuff like vocal work and less leading man stuff.

Jack Reacher was completely mis-cast. Reacher is 6'5" 250lb and a bad ass. So hollywood give us Tom Cruise in that role? Yeah...so close.

Watched Marksman with Nesen. The roll was more for an older “tough guy” but the fight scene of him against a young tough guy is so unrealistic. Movie wasn’t terrible, say 5 or 6/10
