Movies you've seen recently II

Don’t Look Up 7.5/10. A parody with a bunch of A list actors. Several lol’s at silly lines. If your a huge Trumper you may not like as there’s a good bit of fun poked at political pep rallies and presidential support staff who are sons of the POTUS. Nothing too serious and the last ending is humorous.

For those who are looking for something inspirational and like football....

American Underdog 7/10. Kurt Warner really does have an amazing story.

Sparks: The Ken Sparks Story 7/10. A true Tennessee legend who inspired so many.

The Night House 8/10. Great horror/drama that kept me on edge.

American Murder on Netflix 8/10. I guess I'm a few years behind, but the Watts case was crazy. Documentary did a great job pairing it together, the wife practically tells the story.

These are both well worth watching, good suggestions 👍

I watched about a minute of the trailer to The Night House and stopped because I was sold on it. Just downloaded it.

I started The Road last night but didn't get to finish it. Like was said in a different thread, it's the most realistic post apocalyptic I've seen. I thought it was new but it's from 2009. It's depressing but I can't wait to finish it.

Old Henry 8/10 small scale western but stars Tim Blake Nelson so I was in. Great historical tie in late. Enjoyed it.

Paper Tigers is an entertaining martial arts movie. It's low budget and independent, but they did a pretty good job. It's billed as a comedy but there aren't a lot of laughs. It's more like a light action (PG-13).

Headed to see Scream tomorrow, anyone else checking it out this weekend?

I saw it last night. It was a good "slasher" film if that's what you're into. It was a little much gore for me, but it wasn't unexpected.

I give it a 5/10 but, like I said, if that's your genre, you'll probably like it a lot more than I did.

I've just been a big Scream fan since the beginning, so it's one of those musts haha.

Then you'll like it for sure. It's much like the original. Just a little more graphic.

Off topic: Courteney Cox needs to seriously lay off the plastic surgery. It was almost distracting.

Mitchell's vs Machines on netflix. Freaking hilarious and super creative! Great cast and great animation. My wife and I loved it and so did our 2 and 5 year old boys. I give it 9/10.
