Movies you've seen recently II

Terrifier (the first one) was a different kind of horror movie, it was damn good. Looking forward to seeing the second one.

Art did a couple stints in short films but if you can run down All Hallow's Eve I think it incorporates those into the narrative of the movie itself. (it's an anthology so you could just FF through the other "stories")

There isn't an origin story involved but if you wanted to scope out his previous appearances you can check it out. Not sure well else it might be but AHE is currently on TUBI.

The Greatest Beer Run Ever. Knew nothing about it going in. Certainly not what I expected given the title, but it was surprisingly good. Recommend this one without reservation.

Watched "Interview with the Vampire" for the first time today and I enjoyed it. It was interesting to see Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise as vampires. I'm thinking about watching the new show on AMC now.

Halloween 1978 - creepy but a little cheesy
Dr Sleep - Well done, nice reference to the original. Worth a view.
Next time you watch Halloween (1978), notice how all Dr Loomis does until the end is stand aimlessly and look like John Travolta from Pulp Fiction. Does it for literally 90%, once as Myers drives by. The funniest is when he’s on the same street as the kids running out of the houses screaming.

Bullet Train 7.5/10 style on style. right up my alley. just a fun time.

3000 Years of Longing 6/10 Whoever wrote the script seemed to just give up for the third act. Had some great visuals and was a fun watch until it literally fell asleep on itself. Watch the first two-thirds then turn it off. You will know when.

Don't Worry Darling is a good psychological thriller. It had many flaws but it was still entertaining and the wife and I enjoyed poking holes in it.

Bodies Bodies Bodies 7/10 Dark humor/horror, one of my favorite genres. I enjoyed it kinda fizzled at the end though.

Kingdom of Heaven - Directors cut.

Only saw the movie when it came out and didnt think much of it. Going back though its a pretty good flick.

The King was cool. I love it when shows/movies give you just a little bit of clever battle strategy. Makes the payoff so much better. Funny that this show had Edgerton and the other guy from The Stranger, when I've never seen that guy before, and then catch them in 2 movies together within a week.
