Funny. I preferred Barbarian. It was different, unexpected and all over the place. I like being surprised.

I thought Barbarian was so stupid, the reason i hate horror movies. X is the kind of horror movies i do like.

The Menu dark comedy/horror. Smart fun script. Cleverly crafted micro world. I enjoyed it. 8/10

Spirited...hard to really rate because it is intentional cheese. Fun watch overall. Creative take/twist on Christmas Carol which I appreciate. Over the top in spots, but it's meant to be that way. I can see the family watching this annually and it will easily be adapted to high school stages in a few years.

Pearl 7/10 prequel to X. I found the bright colors and sunny shots interesting for a horror film. Will make you not want pork for a good while.

Bullet Train is over the top, and doesn’t take itself seriously. This is what makes it so fun. I never found myself feeling like it was poking along once. An entertaining watch with a surprising amount of development to keep up with lol.

Bullet Train was entertaining especially since I didn't have high expectations of an award winning script or performance. It was just an enjoyable movie. 7/10
