Evil Dead Rise 9/10

I went in not expecting much from my favorite franchise, and now this might be my second favorite Evil Dead movie behind 2. Covers the family and gives you their "character traits" fast, then its tons of creepy, bloody, gooey, fun. Feels more E.D. than 2013 to me. The main Deadite chick is ****ing awesome.

It was a great crowd of what felt like hardcore fans, so it might be raised a touch because of that. Biased but this is the most consistent horror franchise ever, hasn't had bad one yet. E.D. 2 and The Series= great, The Original, this one= really good, and Army of Darkness, and 2013= above average.

Barbarian Incomplete/10

This b*tch is just too stupid, I turned it off when she started drooling over his pic on her phone then went back to the house. I hope Pennywise drowned her in sewer sh*t.

Smile 4/10

Meh, super bad trailer made a sh*tty boring movie feel a little less sh*tty I guess. So yay?

Terrified (eD not eR) 6/10

Was pretty good and creepy till the last act when it became a CGI sh*t fest and the main guy suddenly forgot how to act.

I thought Smile was pretty good, and I usually don't like horror movies.

Return of the Jedi - 8/10. My least favorite of the original trilogy still holds up 40 years after its original release. I saw it at a theater in Atlanta over the weekend. I wish it had been a remastered original cut instead of the Lucas vanity project that includes Hayden Christiansen as Anakin’s Force ghost in the closing scene on Endor and the silly musical duet in Jabba’s palace. Still, it’s a fun experience on the big screen. It’s hard to believe we’re approaching 50 years since A New Hope was released.

It has a couple ugh moments and weird dialogue, but I judge 90% of a movie on was it fun, and it was a fun ride. I was worried the trailer, like most movies, gave away to much but there is ton of brutal, cool, creepy sh*t not shown.

People like me and Joe just don't what to look for in movies and we don't understand how to properly enjoy them. We just sit down and start watching. We either like them or we don't. Pretty much it.

Hey we all like what we like.
