You’re assessment is spot on, but I still liked the movieRocky IV (making my way back through the entire catalog with my son) -- so bad. There was virtually no dialogue or story, and half the movie was flashbacks to prior scenes. Yeah, yeah, he eventually KOs the Ruskie, but this was not a highlight of the franchise.
Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Absolutely hilarious. The mid 2000s cranked out so many top tier comedies that I somehow missed this one. Too bad the genre is dead.
I remember laughing so hard my sides and stomach hurt at Porky's. I was a junior in high school and that was the funniest thing I'd ever seenIt really is a shame, but comedy is still alive and well on TV/streaming. The worst part of movie comedies being dead is there was nothing like being in a packed theater with a raucous crowd. Those are basically all my favorite theater memories as a kid/teenager.
