Movies you've seen recently II

Greener Grass 8/10, Oddball, definitely different, enjoyable. Movie about women, but not what I would call a chick flick.

Watched "7 Days in Uptopia" (2011) with Robert Duvall, Lucas Black. No idea until I began to watch. It's about professional golf! As usual, Duvall is just mesmerizing on screen, & Black has become a star after his "Slingblade" debut years ago.b:cool:

Rocky IV (making my way back through the entire catalog with my son) -- so bad. There was virtually no dialogue or story, and half the movie was flashbacks to prior scenes. Yeah, yeah, he eventually KOs the Ruskie, but this was not a highlight of the franchise.

You’re assessment is spot on, but I still liked the movie😁

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Absolutely hilarious. The mid 2000s cranked out so many top tier comedies that I somehow missed this one. Too bad the genre is dead.

It really is a shame, but comedy is still alive and well on TV/streaming. The worst part of movie comedies being dead is there was nothing like being in a packed theater with a raucous crowd. Those are basically all my favorite theater memories as a kid/teenager.

I remember laughing so hard my sides and stomach hurt at Porky's. I was a junior in high school and that was the funniest thing I'd ever seen 😂.

Air: 8/10
Guardians 3: 8/10. Good movie, wrapped up the series in that form. Even better soundtrack as said before.
Fast X: 4/10. I get suspending belief, but some of the stuff is just too far out. I enjoyed the first movie the most. It is what it is, and I’ll probably see the next one in 2025, so I’m not sure why I’m complaining lol.
The Machine: 5/10. Funny moments, but I would wait until it’s watchable at home.
