Watching this last night I had know idea that Billy Beane & Peter Brand now ran the Atlanta Braves...joke!

I'm not sure how or why it has evaded me for so many years, but I finally watched Schindler's List for the first time last night. It's very easy to see why this movie is held in such high regard. Great, great film, yet very haunting. From the performances, to the story, to the cinematography (including the few splashes of color), to the score, it was incredible all the way around. I've never been a huge Spielberg fan, but yeah, that's definitely his crown jewel:

Prisoners. Loved Hugh Jackman and what he did because he knew the guy was involved. Perfect idea if someone hurts one of my girls.

Predestination. Wonderful time travel sci fi mind bender. I'm still a bit confused as to the ending. The story was well done. It was a very interesting take on which came first; the chicken, egg, or rooster. I might go read the short it's based off of now.

I really enjoyed this and thought the acting was very good. I especially liked Harrison Ford's portrayal as the Dodgers owner.

A League of Their Own - 4/5

Quite frankly one of the best baseball movies of all-time. IMO I rank it right up there with Field of Dreams.

The Natural - 3.5/5

To my knowledge this was the first time I have ever seen this and while it certainly now ranks in my top 5 baseball films list its not at the top as some others have it.

To me there are things left out or unresolved.

That is my favorite baseball movie and as a kid was my favorite overall movie. I recently watched it with my son and it is still great. The cast is top shelf as well.
