Movies you've seen recently

I enjoyed the film but expected more of it from all the acclaim. If you don't mind, tell me what you thought about it to give it a 10. I might have just missed something about it as I watched it when I couldn't sleep

Well first it's just my type of film. I've always preferred cerebral over the shoot em up type movies. To me this film is what sci fi should be. The claustrophobic setting adds a lot to the film and the acting is terrific. The ending is probably a little predictable, but still it checked all the boxes for me.

I agree the acting was well done. I found all the interviews a bit boring in the beginning. My favorite parts are the interaction between nathan and Caleb. From the first encounter it was intense. The sci fi was just on the side to me. It was more of a dark drama. The writing was outstanding. Thanks for the reply. One more question, did you enjoy Brazil?

I assume you're talking about the film Brazil. Haven't seen it, it's in my netflix queue. It came out when I was two years old, so it took me awhile to find it.

I didn't think 10/10 but i thought it was really good. I really liked the acting and the writing/concept is smart.

I watched that on the plane coming back from Germany. Had to hold back the tears at the end. For some reason that movie got me. Good film

Watched The Babadook. That was so weird. The kid was super annoying in the beginning of the film but it got better as it went on. This is the kind of movie I have to let linger in my mind a bit before I rate it.

I thought that movie was terrible. Turned it off a little over halfway thru. As a Joe Hill fan I wanted to like it, but uggh.

Joe Dirt 2 9/10, I love Joe, but dropped a few f-bombs I wasn't expecting. Little more unfriendly for kids. Just my taste.

Trainwreck...Apatow movie so...good,funny and a launch for Amy Schumer. You don't regret going to the theater, but waiting for Redbox wouldn't be the wrong thing. A little lengthy.

Inside Out- Brilliant idea, and pretty good execution. Voice casting was perfect, and animation was as good as Pixar usually is. Bonus points for being very relatable and really appealing emotionally. Overall, one of Pixars best in years and a great, sweet family movie. 9/10

Slow West- Pretty stylish Western. Fassbender rocked. Not enough Rory McCann or Ben Mendelsohn. Also a little too hipster-ish at times. 7/10

John Cena was pretty good...most of the lol moments were in his scenes. Lebron was ok. Nailed most of it but there were way too many instances of trying too hard. Amare Stoudemire was great.
